Hello all,

Forgive me if this has been answered before but I'm building a linkwheel of web 2.0 sites and I want to know how to tell if the sites I've chosen are nofollow or not.

Thank you

John Mann

    1. Go to sites. Right click - view source
Click Ctrl+F - search for term "nofollow". Often
blogs will mark comments as nofollow.

    2. Use Firefox browser with DoNoFollow plugin.

    3. Use Chrome browser. It has as plugin/option that shows link
attributes. I haven't tried it but is said to be pretty slick.

Note: Chrome is invasive to your Windows registry.

You can get a plug-in for the firefox web browser here addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5687. If you need the firefox browser just type Mozilla FireFox in your search bar and download it for free.

When you use firefox you can activate the plugin through the tools menu and nofollow links will be highlighted in red.

You can also find dofollow links at dofollow diver, again just type it in your search bar and you will find it at or near the top.

This is just a search tool that returns only blogs with dofollow links, so you can target relevant websites.

Simply click in tools of Mozilla browser in it click the addon search for search status addon download for your browser and restart the Mozilla you will get symbol of q in your footer. Then right click to that q symbol their option of highlight no follow links just tick that option follow this simple steps and you can easily come to know the site is no follow or do follow you will get pink bar in the links if it is no follow. the do follow is the pure like gold no need to clarify it.

Indeed, and I would actually go for the "quirk searchstatus" FF plugin if I were you. I use it a lot and it's really good. Not only will it help you identify dofollow and nofollow links, it will also give you a wide range of indicators very useful to internet marketers about the website you're browsing, like: Backlinks, Number of indexed pages, Meta Tags, SiteMaps, Keyword density...

The easiest way is to use the Firefox plugin which will check to see if sites are dofollow.

just hover over other members outbound links and look at the url string on the bottom lefthand corner of your IE or firefox webclient. If it says the hosting sites domain name like myspace its a nofollow if it doesnt then its dofollow Hard and fast!!
