Does redirecting the 404 page to home/index have any benefit? I have noticed that some of my earlier pages are still indexed and some of those pages have since changed (URL), so clicking on them would give a 404. I understand Google will, at some point, reindex them, but is there any benefit of redirecting the 404 request page to the index page, so that Google never lands on a 404 to begin with? Thanks
