quick question about my drop in SERPS (just 2 minutes of your time)

My webpage was ranking #3 for a great keyword, so i changed the onpage content to be more optimized for that keyword. As soon as the google spiders came back to my page It has dropped out of sight ! (And costing me a lot of dang money might I add )

my question is this, Has this happened to you and how long does it usually take to get your page back to where it was originally?

  • Same thing happened to me. I was on page 1 for two different competitive keywords and dropped down to where I can't even find my site anymore.

    It's been about ten days now and it still hasn't bounced back. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    • did you change anything on the page? I know sometimes ill be really high for a keyword when the page first gets indexed but will drop off immediately afterward
