My twitter, youtube and facebook profiles has good pagerank, can I use these accounts to build backlinks to increase my site's PR ?

For example, on of my profile has PR5, so if I insert my site link on that page, will I get a backlink for my site to increase my site's PR ?

  • Here is the good thing about YouTube. It has Speech-to-text functionality and it works great. So if your YouTube Videos are targeted then even better for you.

It will generate more traffic which is why everyone builds backlinks at the end of the day Keep testing...

    Cheers!

    • Are we living in a parallel world?

twitter and youtube are not great for backlinks.
In fact, with twitter they are nonexistent.
Youtube? As far as I know, they are still nofollow
      as well.

      Don't mistake backlinks for traffic.

Traffic is another matter. Twitter may be great for
traffic if you use it right. Don't spam. Don't tweet
      links over and over.

People doing searches for videos mainly do them on youtube.
What are the chances of your videos showing up?

Your youtube videos have PR8? PR9?
Man, are you going to have to explain that one!

  • I normally tweeting my link to one of my accounts then auto retweet to around hundred more accounts. Of course they are coming from the same IP which means the volume have no much effect.

But if your links was retweeted by many other twitter users, the tweet that contains your link will be listed in hundreds of tweet\retweet statistic sites. Which means you get tons of backlinks from high PR sites.
