What to do with popular .com

Hello,

So I have recently acquired an up and coming major sport teams .com domain name. The domain is just parked with adsense for domains. I guess my question to everyone is what exactly should I do with this domain? Should I build an Adsense web page? Sell it? The domain is getting a lot of hits and I would like to obviously monetize on it. I'm just looking for the best solution since i'm a noob at internet marketing and building adsense websites. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

    Whatever you do, do NOT invest heavily in it. There is the possibility the name is trademarked and get seized by the trademark owner. Not talking officially here or anything but there is the chance this may happen.

    Personally I would build up quickly & monetize, then sell asap. Good domain + revenues should net you a solid return.

    I'd look into selling to them. But, definitely do not spend a bunch of time and money building something on it. You're likely to lose it at some point anyway.

      It's getting roughly 400+ hits a day and i've only had it for a week. Since the site is a sports teams' .com, should I just slap up a WP optimized Adsense theme? I'm not really sure what type of content to put up on the site. Maybe add vbulletin forum? Just fishing for ideas...
