Articles-Getting ranked in Google

I like to write so I am trying to promote a product via articles. I have the product website in my signature. This is the first time I've tried doing anything like this, since I am relatively new to the IM game.

I am excited to see that both articles I have written so far show up on page 1 of Google! They are number 6 and number 7 for each of the keywords I was using. (That was really cool to see that, believe me...)

What I did was use some social bookmarking, "pinged" each article and also used www.submitexpress.com.

My question is this: What should I be doing to try and keep the articles on page 1 and/or see if I could even get them to climb even higher?

  • Try Angela, Paul and Terry Kyle backlink package, profile links will get your site rank much longer, may be permanently!
  • It is really simple. It is great that articles can rank naturally, but just build some regular back links with proper anchor text to those articles to help increase and secure their ranking.

  • As the person above said, just build some back links. People often forget about this, building back links for an article or squidoo lens or anything like that works the same way as building links for your main site...it's going to raise the rank. So get some back links to your articles and this will help you out.
