My go on micro niche sites and adsens - input greatly appreciated!

Inspired by other post I'm going to create a thread I will (hopefully) update as I go along. I was also recently laid off so really need some income or I'll soon be having huge problems with debts.. Gotta love the recession.. So, I need to make about 6000$/month, starting yesterday

Anyhow, I'm making around 300$ from adsense at the moment, but that's due to luck, not skill. Got 12 sites, and 3 of the sites is 80% of the income.
I'm still not good a keyword researching, so before buying these domains I'd really like to get some input. Do these look wortwhile? All have several PR 0 og N/A sites in top 10, several have other micro niche sites in top 10 results. All have cpc above 1$ and enough advertisers.
Anything I'm missing or should pay more attention to?

This keyword is a bit special, people have suddenly started searching for it, but don't know if people willl continue to or not. Still, huge cpc, lots of advertisers and zero competiton so though it was worth it.

Just my $0.02; although if you are making $300 a day already I dunno why you are asking for advice, you seem to know what works and what doesn't already.

1.) Do not add an additional word to the domain name. If you can't get the exact match domain of your keyword in the .com, .net or .org then move onto another keyword. Adding a word to your domain name will make it harder to rank.

2.) I would not go for keywords below 2.4k monthly searches unless the CPC is really good. Less searches means less traffic so the CPC needs to be pretty high to make up for less traffic coming to the site. Even then, the higher CPC is not guaranteed. You could still end up with $0.05 clicks.

They look good to me though. Good luck with your $6k goal.

Open yourself up to other methods of monetizing your traffic when making your sites. Every site does not have to be an adsense site. If the traffic is good and you can make more money from clickbank, amazon, CPA, ect then do so.

I have waisted a bunch of time trying to build sites strictly for the sake of monetizing them via adsense when these sites could have made double my monthly adsense income in one sale. As soon as I started using other methods my earning doubled.

Other than that I would agree with what the above poster has stated in terms of not adding words to the domain. Don't add dashes or use .info's either. Simply find a new niche if you can't get the exact match in .com .net or .info.

I'd say that you should go for all of them if they have n/a's in the search results. I've added words to domains before and I didn't have any problems. It's more of a backlink war I think. Get more and better backlinks and you'll get a higher spot than the exact match domains.

The more and more micro-niche adsense sites that I make the harder it is sometimes to get the exact match domain. So, rather than give up a niche I know I can make a few bucks in because I can't get the domain, I'll add a word to the domain...especially if I can find a longer tail of the main keyword.

Hope that helps, sounds like you've got some decent niches right there. Go for it man. You said that the majority of your income is from a few of your sites right? I've heard that said by quite a few people who do really well with micro-niche adsense websites. Not every site is going to be gold. But when you do hit the diamond its worth it. Get enough diamonds in your belt and you're making your goal. Go for it man.

yeah, forgot to say that all have available keyword.com/net/org.
Even though I make 300$/month now I've it feels like a fluke, got other sites which should be making a killing but are making next to nothing, so I must be doing something wrong

Are your sites all ranking on page 1? What positions? I'm just curious since $300 a days seems like an awesome accomplishment. I have 102 sites but they are not all ranking on page 1. I earn about $30 a day with only a few sites that do $3 a day but the majority do $0.30 a day. So I was just curious about your rankings to see how much they help or maybe you just have really good cpc niches. lol

Yeah, 300$/month, else I'd already be at 6000$ a month
Just bought all listed sites, except for one as the domain was probably copyrighted. Will give an update when they all are ranked.

You could try a different model. Don't directly monetise
these sites, but grab leads, and then when they've signed
up with you, forward them to your offer. Obviously you
need to give them something for free... This is where you
    deliver your leads to.

Then use your autoresponder to deliver links to articles that
they have to visit your website to read, and wrap your
monetisation around that. In this way you can recycle your
    traffic.

Of course you can use video etc instead of articles. The
trick is, to get repeat visits to your pages.

I should point out at this stage, that this method is
untested by me, but it is a twist on a classic system.

Thank you for the input, never thought about doing it this way, but it does seem like a good idea. Will look closer at this to see if it can work on the niches I'm working on at the moment.
