ok guys,
I have been studying seo for a while and have started to impliment my own SEO strategy and need some opinions on it.

First off, i have a main keyword and two smaller searched keywords i want to rank for. I have a wordpress blog with 3 unique articles and each page headline and url corrospond to the keywords i'd like to rank for. All articles have good keyword density and pass ezine articles submissions so it's good content.

so heres my strategy. I have submitted each article to exine articles and have linkes it with my main anchor text to each corrosponding page. 3 backlinks so far, all with a backlink of the anchor text i want to rank for.

now my strategy is to create linkwheels around each of my wordpress pages, and also add in some scribd and docstoc pages linking to my pages on wordpress, and also submit articles to the top article sites.

now all 3 of my articles have been written by getarticlesdone.com, and have been spun using their article mixer. I basically have 3 main articles, and about 100 spun versions of those articles available to use for web 2.0 and other article sites.

Now im slowbly building backlinks by slowly building linkwheels around each page on my wordpress, and im using different keyword variations of my main keywords to use for titles, page urls, anchor texts and tags etc...

I will be building about 3-5 web 2.0 pages/article submissions randomly with random variations of my main keywords in order to seem most natural to search engines. I bookmark this way too with keyword variation headlines and tags and using different web 2.0 and sb sites each time.

please let me know if i should keep doing this, or if you have any questions related to my method and please if you have more experience i would love to get some feedback about my method.

thanks alot

Article spinning is not so easy and i am bit confused how to spun articles ? As when you go to submit in 50 Article Directories you can not spun articles that much time.

So I want to know how to do article submission for getting good results ? Search engines still don't consider article links as a good back links.

This is a nice start but there are a quite a few more things you could be doing.

Off the top of my head....

          1. Submitting your blog RSS feed to RSS aggregators
          2. Blog commenting on related other related blogs
          3. Submitting to press release directories
          4. Adding backlinks to your backlinks
          5. Link exchange with similar sites (oldie but a goodie)

Don't hang your hat too much on link wheels. Backlinks are backlinks. They don't need to be in a "wheel" to be effective. As a matter of fact, the wheel method leaves more of a fake backlink footprint than natural backlinks.

Check the link in my sig there's a lot of SEO stuff there for free.

          Good luck!

well the articles arent really "spun" i guess, but this program takes 3 original articles and just rearranges the paragraphs and titles.

I will be submitting rss feeds

and I will leave my linkwheels open ended like you have suggested. I will be getting alot of 3 and 4 way backlinks by building on top of my linkwheels.

top ten results are youtube and amazon results. I have researched the website closest to the top and it seems I am doing much more in terms of SEO and am doing it better so yes I can beat the top ten results.

there's only 19,300 with no quotes. this keyword gets about 3500 searches per month as well.

Before executing your plan, are you positive that you can beat the Top 10 results?

It doesn't matter how elaborate your plan is if you can't really beat the Top 10 results. SEO is all about getting to the top, and targeting the right keyword is, in my opinion, the most important phase of SEO.

Get that done and you already did have the job, seriously.

Pretty interesting, link wheel strategy helps strengthen the links you obtain from sites that you have placed your links. I am really interested with the result of your work, so please keep us updated.

Make sure you leave an open circle when doing link wheel here. This is very important because the much greater value will get of links if you don't close the circle.

    Hi Landonwiggs.

    Your plan sounds great!
And one of the best thing is that you actually have a "plan", and try to stick for it for a couple of sites. It will then be possible to do some changes to see if you can improve your plan.

I have to admit that 100 spun articles from 1 article does sound a little too much. I'm not saying it is, but from the sound of it, it wouldn't be something I would like to do.

searchnology also provides with a pretty good list of additional way to promote.

I always like to mix up the link building with as many types of links as possible. That seems to help for my rankings.

    Good luck landonwiggs

Make sure that if you are focusing on making your text "unique" and being "random" that you do not mess that all up by doing linkwheels - they are basically a big fat red hooter honking to the search engine "follow the links, look where they go - I made this".
