Is SEO counterproductive to Autoblogging?

Autoblogging is a kind of "set-it-and-forget-it" IM system for low maintenance site building whereas SEO is a much more involved set of tasks that is often very deliberate and time-consuming when done well. When you have an autoblog with, say, 1,000 new posts (e.g., a 3 year old expired domain with backdated posts), how can a person give each post (keyword title) the SEO luv it deserves in order to build rank? Seems like it would take forever...and that's just one blog!

I guess my big question is: Is it possible to autoblog and still do a decent job of SEO? (I don't know how as there's only 24 hours in a day.)

Autoblogging is about long tail traffic and long tail rankings which don't require the kind of link building that medium tail keywords do. There are plenty of automated link building plugins for Wordpress that will help kick start your SEO on an autoblog and help you rank for those long tails.

    Cheers,
