Backlinks Questions

Hey guys,

can anyone help me answer my questions below, would appreciate it


1) How many backlinks a day should I get? (In other words how many comments should I make?).

2) Do the link anchor's need to be varied? What's the best way to vary them? For example if my site has 10 keywords, should I use a different keyword of those 10 keywords for each link anchor?

3) If you need to vary the link anchor, then do forum signatures affect your site's ranking negatively as you can't vary the link?

3) Should I stop building backlinks when I'm in the #1 spot on google?

  • Quantity of backlinks are not important rather than the quality of the backlinks. However, If you can get few DOFOLLOW PR links, that will be awesome OR you have to get more DOFOLLOW links from PR0 pages

    Always switch between anchor text, Say, first time if you use anchor text A, then use B, then C and etc. Do not get links for all anchor text from a single web page - That is good for your site.

    Forums signatures do work well in getting backlinks, Say in one forum you can use anchor text A, in another B and etc,

    Noo...!! but you can slow down.
    You should not, you have to always check your rank, If it is strong there, then you can just rest.... However keep on checking it, because there are more guys trying to get business via Google search

    • I use Google's Webmaster Tools, which shows the site owner most or all of the backlinks that Google recognizes.

  • The rate at which you make links and the rate at which Google finds them may be radically different,. The best advice is to build links at a steady rate rather than worrying about certain numbers each day.

  • I have a question about backlinks too. Is there a big difference in Linkbuilding and LinkWheels, is one better than the other, or they both will get the same results?

    • Link wheel is one of the ways in which you build your links.
      This method for link building is really good and useful to rank your site high, if you use it on smart way.
