Rediscovered my Interest in Adsense

Yesterday i got a total unexpected chunk of money on my account, from Google AdSense. It was not much, but very nice since it was unexpected.

So i want to expand my AdSense efforts a bit.

My current SEO efforts are all based on making quality sites and SEO/keyword research for organic rankings - not really adsense.

Is it still possible to make good money with really simple adsense pages, by getting any of those lists of "high paying adsense keywords"?

What parameters/values do you look at in eg. Market Samurai for choosing keywords for ADSENSE?

(I *know* that the majority of those "highest paying keywords" lists are junk since they MOST OF THE TIME never take search volume into account. Aka "mesothelioma lawyer in houston" might be worthless since it simply doesnt yield many searches/clicks.)

    You have to consider a combination of factors including keyword research (how competitive the KW phrases are - the strength of the competition), and of course how many advertisers there are and how much they are paying for these clicks.

    As long as you understand the terrain and the work required.

    The terrain is RIDICULOUS...

    People are still buying those lists, getting them for free and building Adsense Farm sites based on the promises made to them by their gurus.

    I'm utterly amazed that people are still buying those Automated Adsense Script Website builders such as the once wildly popular: http://www.nichesitescript.com/

    I now target those domains as soon as the owners lose hope in building their Adsense empire and start scrambling to dump their domain name portfolio before they get hit with more registration fees.

    In the end, the reality is - it boils down to using the same process for Adsense as you would use for any profitable website; that means starting with good keyword research.
