Wonky issue with google

I have website that is ranked 5th on google for a particular keyword and over the past week, it seems to dissappear from google every other day. It doesnt matter whether I am signed in or out of my google webmaster account and web history is turned off. It gets traffic on the days you can find it...

Has this ever happened to anyone else? Ideas?

You must contact google for that...may be there is some reason

I have noticed this rarely such as search see a certain ranking refresh search again and different ranking or not there until do it again then see it back. It could depend on a lot of things anywhere from amount of content being submitted for that keyword, google indexing you among others, and many other factors unfortunately.

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you start to notice this happening a lot, then you may want to even look at backlinks and where it's being directed to.

It is just weird because it has been moving up steadily since it ranked in early February and has been on page 1 for half of March. Then just poofs and reappears like every other day this week. I get you with google though, they are a pain but a neccessary one or so it seems.

maybe try a quick test, submit new material same keyword on differen't google friendly site like article-blog-pr-video and see if same things are happening.

  And even weirder is that a week ago, according to google webmaster tool, it was ranked 7th. It is ranked for 5 keywords...4 of which were chosen by google since I only tried to rank it for one and it does not appear any pages for those keywords either...so it is only there half the time this week and manages to jump two notches in the rankings...it could only happen with google.
