  • I like Propeller and some other social bookmarking sites but you can also try blogs related to your niche. "Google options" will lead you down the right path.

  • blog commenting, getting backlinks by setting up profiles in high PR sites, using article syndication networks / link networks are some additional link building methods you can utilize

    • I'd say pretty much the same way as you would with any site. My best method is writing relevant comments on high PR blogs and using my keywords in the anchor text.
  • Man oh man ezines going to love you for sending traffic to them instead of yourself
  • The thing to remember with Ezine articles and similar sites is they are already established this means you can throw a lot of links at your article without getting penalized.

You don't have to build links as slowly and carefully as you do with a new site, just thought it might be useful for you to know that.

    • maybe point other article directories to your ezine article as well?
  • Use Google Do follow blog search or some other do follow blog search to find out blogs related to your article. Then go and comment on the posts and leave your article link in the url space. Don't include the link inside comment.

Fresh blog contents accept comments always. Bloggers are eagerly waiting for comments. So go to google blog search and select "past 24 hours" as filter and find out some blog posts related to your niche. Then leave comment on those blog.

You can also create video about the article content and submit it the video sharing sites and include the ezine article link in the description. Videojug links are do follow links. So some other sites like ehow,... etc might be do follow.

  • Head over to socialmarker.com where you'll find a ton of social bookmarking sites you can use. I was actually wondering this morning whether anyone had ever tried submitting their EZA articles to blog carnivals?

  • Thanks for all your replies. I want to build backlinks to my articles so i can get them back ranking high so i can make sales. I don't have a website for a lot of these articles.
  • traffic-bug.com is great
  • Hey, you can use socialadr!
  • Another suggestion would be using Twitter. Find the relavent hashtags to use "#xyz", target specific bloggers on their with "@username" and setup scheduled tweets with a program like SocialOomph.

The most important thing to do is to keep your tweets relevant to the content of your particular article. Even if you have a low follow crowd people still watch #hashtags and monitor their mentions.

Social links are worth 10x a forum comment link even if twitter is no-follow, the amount of social links is what is important in this case.

Also, creating a facebook fan page for your blogging would be very beneficial.

    • Also link your twitter account with your ezine article feed, this worked wonders for me.
  • Not to sure this is a good idea, I've been saying for months now that the links aren't displaying.

Can you find ANY article (not the homepage) that has a backlink? The articles in the "Most Viewed", "Most Published" column used to display thousands of links before, but now it shows none.

edit: just noticed this was an old post, but if you're still linking your articles you may want to reconsider.
  • Ezine Articles is a very good article submission website. I suggest that you continue posting your articles, just remember to post a unique and useful articles
  • be careful about sending traffic as EZA has a TOS against paid traffic!
