Back-link and PR for internal pages

I have a site where people can go and put their publicity for free.
My home page has a page rank of 3.
However, most of my internal pages which are publicities have 0 PR.
As they are a lot I cannot put link from my homepage to all of them.
Those that I put link to them in my homepage have PR of 2 or 1, but all others have 0 PR.

Could anyone help me how I can improve the PR of all my internal pages.
Should I build back-link for all of them?

  • PageRank is page specific. If you want your internal pages to have a PageRank build links to them, or better still make them link worthy and they will attract links.

  • You need to build backlinks to your internal pages in the same way that you do to your homepage. Try submitting some articles to directories with the link in the resource box pointing at a relevant internal page. You can also bookmark them or post the links on your Twitter account.
  • As is often said on this forum and others like it: it's Page rank, not site rank.

If you need to build PR on your inner pages, getting higher PR on your home page will help some in a trickle down manner, but more then anything else you'll need to backlink those pages as well.
  • Is there any directory where I can submit internal pages? I could not find any as all of them accept only homepage.
  • Put some sort of html/css based drop down menu on your site. If not maybe try putting a solid html sitemap on the bottom of your site.

If you have hundreds of internal sites, why no maybe put a "featured publicity" on your homepage. Have your members pay you some sort of fee to have their website linked on your homepage for 2+ weeks.
