Hi all,

After reading so many "diaries" on here and seeing most everyone fail to reach their goals, I have decided to give it a try myself.

I've done some mini site building before. I also have web design and development experience. I'm currently making around $1500/month from my *small* portfolio of review sites.

My goal for this "experiment" is to create 30 brand new, medium sized, product oriented niche websites. I'm planning to have at least 20 pages of content on each site.

I will be monetizing using Amazon Ads, Adsense and a couple of other affiliate programs for some of the more niche-oriented sites.

Once the sites are online, I normally run my own (custom coded) social bookmarking script to get them listed on 50-100 do-follow social bookmarking sites. This is to give the sites a nice initial boost in rankings.

I go after low to medium traffic keywords (3000-9000 exact match searches per month) and always make sure to register an exact match domain.

I do not analyse my competition. If I can get an exact match domain, I go for it. End of story.

I've broken down my income goal into two phases:

phase 1: $30/day by 5th of May
phase 2: $50/day by 30th of May (as I have a nice holiday planned for June).

----------------------------------
I will post here once a day with any updates and my daily income stats.
----------------------------------

Please ask if you have any questions or w/e. I promise to answer each and every question within 24 hours.

Let's hope I can make it to $50/day!

If you have experience doing this already then it would be easier then for someone starting out fresh faced.
Good luck with the challenge, hope you make the $50 per day.
It'd be a really good way following on to promote a course of some kind, adding another income stream. People love to learn from people with the know how.

I would like to know what kind of software you use to design your minisites, if you use any at all? I just need a good template to use to incorporate with AdSense, got any ideas? Thanks.

So, no promotion other than the social bookmarking?

Will be interested to see the results! I love case studies like this!

Thank you for starting this thread. It will be interesting to follow and very beneficial for a lot of people.

Are you only looking for .com domains? I find great difficulty with finding exact-match domains (especially with regard to .com). Usually, I have to add something at the end (e.g. www*productnamereview*com or www*productnameusa*com etc.)

Another thing, 20 pages of content can be difficult for product sites unless you build sites that are built around broader keywords (e.g. www*digitalcameras*com). However, these sites are typically harder to compete with. The only way I can think of to get around this (and also be able to create larger sites/write more content etc.), is to build a site that is product specific (e.g. www*olympusstylus9000*com), then, to get another 15+ pages of content, use a keyword for each page that is also product-specific, but relative (e.g. olympus stylus tough 6000, olympus stylus tough, olympus stylus 550wp etc. etc.). In other words, just because your home page/domain is focused on a specific digital camera, doesn't mean that your remaining pages have to be built around that exact model - they can be different models that fall into the same category or series etc.

Anyway, is this your basic approach, or do you typically try to go for broader keywords and try to beat out the competition?

    Thanks.

.com/org/net are all equally good. Unless I'm looking to build an authority site (in which case .com is a must), I'm happy with either one of them. Never add any extra words - makes ranking a bit more difficult (again this is only my opinion).

      I never register product-model.tld domains.

What I like to do is look for "medium difficulty" domains such as, using your example above, www*olympusdigitalcameras*com OR www*olympusstyluscameras*com.

Try to never use a model name/number in your domains. If you have to, use a identifying trait such specific size/material/etc (for example wheeledbackpacks, womensleatherhandbags, etc).

I also never use any trademarked words in any of my domains, but that's only a personal preference.

My website domains normally focus around a medium sized keyword such as "wheeledlaptopbags". I then pick out 5-10 laptop bag brands, find 3-5 products/each and create a page for each one of the brand names (so like "wheeled laptop bags from SwissGear" etc) and fill those pages up with:

      1. a short intro at the top
      2. product reviews (re-writes of Amazon/Walmart/product website reviews)
      3. pictures for every product reviewed

But this is only the beginning. Later on I might create a page called "funky laptop bags with wheels" or something similar. Then I would pick out 3-4 "funky" looking wheeled laptop bags that I haven't reviewed yet, and create a page around them.

I'm sure if you use you imagination, or ask your friends/family/etc to help you out a little, you can come up with tons of catchy headlines. This kind of stuff makes your websites look unique, stand out from the usual "copycat" crowd and gives them credibility. I love it.

EDIT: This is a little off-topic, but for anyone looking for quality free WP themes, check out newwpthemes.com. Great stuff there. Make sure to modify them to fit your requirements. Perhaps not the best themes for MFA sites though.

I am doing something similar I have 24 new keyword domains. Now it time to build the sites. The hard part is designing them and figuring out to make them with amazon products or free tips with adsense or both. Most of them will have adsense. I am hoping to make $50 or more per day as well and be done building them by the end of the month. I really hope all of this hard work so far pays off. Just getting the keywords and doing the templates for 24 domains was hard enough. lol

    Interesting.

I wonder how you'll find the time to write unique articles for all your product sites. Are you considering outsourcing content writing?

It's relatively easy writing content for products. Simply write up a product description/specifications/manufacturer info. etc. by getting information from retailers such as Amazon and Wal-Mart etc. Also, look for reviews and rewrite them in your own words. Give your readers a story if you have to (real or not) about how you or someone you know owns the product and was able to do this or that with it blah blah blah. Use filler words to give it more meat and inject facts regularly so that the information is useful to the reader:

    Amazon product description/specifications:
    • 12 mega pixel resolution
    • Focal adjustment: manual, automatic
    • Focal length: 18mm - 55mm
    • Auto focus points: 7

    Your description/specifications:
    • This particular camera produces pictures at an amazing 12 mega pixels - which equates to 12 million pixels. What that means is, greater resolution and quality.
    • With both, a manual and an automatic focal adjustment, you have more control and creative room to produce the pictures the way YOU want them to be.
    Additional content and filler:
My friend, Steve, owns this particular model and swears by it. He is not a professional photographer by any means, but I have to say, some of the pictures that he produces with this camera look amazing! With a focal length of 18mm to 55mm and 7 auto focus points, it's relatively easy to see why. Blah blah blah. More filler and product pros/cons/facts etc. Blah blah.

21 words quickly turn in to 122 words. Easy.

By the way, guys, Amazon and Adsense are not the only options here. Aside from the obvious CPA/Clickbank solutions etc. you can also go directly through the merchant/website and sign up through their affiliate program for selling non-virtual products. You can either work with them directly, or, if that doesn't sit well with you, you can look for a merchant that works with a large affiliate network that tracks everything. Most product websites/merchants have an affiliate program. In fact, instead of dealing with Amazon's 1-day cookie and their ridiculously low commissions, you could, instead, go through a merchant website directly and see as much as 20% commissions on all sales- with a 45-day cookie (for example). There are LOTS of websites like this, people.

      Highly, highly unethical.

No wonder so many people are starting to realize online reviews are BS, and why the U.S. FTC has decided to crack down on website owners and bloggers. Let's just call this what it is: "lying to site visitors in hopes of making a quick buck". This can be a criminal offense in some countries, or simply a civil matter in others.

This is why bloggers will never be real journalists.

That's simply horrible advice. I'm appalled and disgusted.

        You are overreacting.

How is this any different from a commercial on television that shows some woman (an actress that reads a script) talking about how Purina dog food is the best choice for her and her dog - while spewing out the benefits (facts) and using filler to make the commercial last 60-120 seconds long?

At least, when rewriting reviews, you know that what you're saying has truth behind it - and not just a bunch of lying crap and false claims. I mean, you're not lying about the product and saying that it can do something that it can't etc.

And since when is speaking your opinion (or the opinion of someone else) a crime? Just because YOU didn't say it doesn't mean it's not true. And so what if you make up some person/name to use in your content - you think the commercials on television depict real people - use their real names - show them in 'their' real home etc.? Give me a break.

The fact is, you are writing content for your readers that not only contains facts about the product (which are beneficial for the reader), but you're putting it all in a context that is informal and easy to read - making it more enjoyable for the reader.

I suppose nationally published catalogues and magazines are unethical too. I always see reviews for products in magazines, catalogues, the newspaper, my mailbox, at some gas stations.

I will agree that some reviews are pretty terrible, however I'm in a lot of product niches and most of my competitors, small to medium sized sites have good reviews. Not all of them only cover the good and don't mention the bad. All of my reviews have truthful pros and cons.

Considering this unethical is about as stupid a thing as I've ever heard.

Okay... I see there's a lot of interest in this kind of stuff out there eh. Good stuff.

Let me start by saying that I will only be checking this thread once a day - to answer questions and post daily updates. This helps me focus on my work rather than surfing the web/reading forums endlessly until the day is over.

Here goes my first daily update:

Yesterday I managed to find and register 30 exact match product related domains.

After that I went on to create 3 websites (they go online today) using WordPress. At the moment each website has around 4 pages of content (excluding contact us/privacy policy/about us pages).

For content I simply used the exact same method as Murderface has described above. I do have plans to diversify the site content a bit later on, once I'm done launching all 30 websites. I have also just outsourced over 150 product descriptions to be re-written.

As I have already mentioned, I use WordPress and I love it. It's an amazing platform with almost endless customization/automation possibilities.

Yesterday I decided to try out a few Amazon site builder plugins (automated product postings), to see if I could integrate them nicely into my websites. Unfortunately, none of them impressed me much, because the way I build my pages seems to be very different from anything that those plugins offer. Oh well. I'll write my own custom plugin today.

Let me try answering the questions now.

I don't mean to take this off-topic, and I wish you luck in your current challenge. I couldn't help but recall that you made some posts last year in XFactors "6 month later" thread about some reasonable success you were having following his "blueprint". I just wondered what the situation was with these sites? Did you continue to follow this blueprint, did the sites get deindexed, did they dry up, do they still exist and earn to this day?

Was just curious to know :-)

      Hey! Thanks!

Yeah I tried following his "blueprint" at first, but when I added my sites to Google webmaster tools I noticed a warning message - "low quality websites" or something similar. That's when I decided to kill those mini sites and started building different websites.

I have read some of XFactors later posts telling people to add more pages/content to their sites, etc... which is great. I'm not saying that his approach is flawed, but people need to understand that what he teaches is only the basics - they should read his posts/thread, have a good think, add a unique twist to his methods and do work.

      Day 3 update.

      Earnings:

      Adsense: nothing
      Amazon: $1.62 (two small sales)

Didn't get enough done yesterday! ARGH!

I was planning to launch 3 more websites, then implement my new WordPress plugin into all of my product related posts and to run SB links to the 2 sites I managed to create the day before.

All I managed to do was run the Social Bookmarking script on those 2 sites and complete coding my new WordPress plugin. I must note, however, that this is my first time writing a WP plugin, which is why it took me a bit longer than planned.

I'll be working all night in order to catch up. Must..not..fail..the..challenge...

First of all, let me say thank you to everyone who wished me luck, it does help to keep me going.

      Day 4 update.

      Earnings:

      Adsense: nothing
      Amazon: $26.18 (one lucky sale)

Yesterday has been an amazing day in terms of earnings. Someone bought one expensive item through one of my niche sites. Just awesome. Currently, only 3 websites have Adsense/Amazon ads on them, while the other 2 (5) are sitting there waiting to be noticed by the big G.

My current traffic stats are ~40/day over 3 websites. Amazon ad ctr is ~25%.

I managed to get 3 more websites built, started testing my new Amazon plugin, outsourced 50 articles (300 words each), prepared a fresh template for the next 3-6 sites (I never use the same template on more than 6 websites).

Hopefully, once I get all 30 websites up and running, I'll be seeing a lot more of those "lucky" high commission Amazon sales. :p

      Time to do some work.

My life be like oooooh aaaahh...

        Hey,

My experience with Google sandbox has been this:

I launch a site with 4-5 pages of unique content. Next day send 50 - 100 SB links to it. Get indexed real quick, hit pages 1-3 on google.com (depending on the target market of course). I then start adding more content once a week or so.

The sites seem to hold those rankings for ~1 1/2-2 months. After that they start to slowly drop in rankings for the main keyword, but at the same time I normally start getting a lot more traffic for long term, very niche related searches (obviously ranking for a lot of weird phrases).

Out of every 10 websites I build, ~2 seem to get hit by the Google sandbox, while the other 8 do just fine. I haven't yet figured out why/how to avoid it, but I don't pay too much attention to it tbh.

My templates change every 3-5 sites.

As a general rule though, I like to make my sites look "pretty" while at the same time retaining high ad ctr.

This means that I do not use any of the "huge" Adsense blocks right at the top of my pages. I like to have a nice (and relevant) banner/header on every page. I do not hide my contact/terms/home links. Every one of my sites has a unique colour theme/feel.

So far, with all of my previous websites, I managed to keep the avg. Adsense ctr in the 7%-15% range, and my Amazon (or similar) ad ctr has been in the 20%-35% range.

I do not spam my visitors with a ton of product links (as some people do - picture links, product name links, "read more" links, etc). I like to pre-sell my visitors first, and I always make sure that those who click through to the product pages know that they are leaving my website "to buy xxx at amazon.com".

My main measurements of success are the avg. length that my visitors stay on the site and the bounce rate. I like to keep the bounce rate low, and the avg. stay at ~1-2mins (enough for someone to read through a page worth on content).

        Good stuff!

        Day 13.

        Earnings:

        Adsense: $0.62
Amazon: $4.50 (4 items. 2 of them very low value sales.)

Okay. I've started slowly monetizing my websites. Currently only adding Amazon ads to them, Adsense will follow towards the end of the month (depending on website performance).

Yesterdays earnings are for 5 sites combined. I took Adsense off of one of my first sites, because I wasn't getting any clicks (my best earning Amazon site so far). Today I will be adding ads to 5 more websites with traffic.

Funny thing - one of my websites started getting over 80 visits/day from Google. The reason - I'm ranking on page 1 for a rather competitive keyword. A lot of traffic heh. Just changed the site content around a little bit to reflect that keyword term. This is very good news.

Oh and for those wondering how competitive the keyword is - imagine having a website - largeleatherhandbags.net (targeting "large leather handbags") - and ranking on page 1 for the keyword "leather handbags".

It is great achievement! But builiding 30 sites with 20 pages or articles each is not easy. I think you must have put very hard work in it. Afterall to get 50$/day it is necessary.

I had a friend run this exact type of plan and within about 3 months Google had dropped all of his 40 or so websites(wordpress). When I say dropped I mean removed from the index. The only way Google could have linked them all was via his adsense account, I think he moved to quickly and got hit with a low quality hammer. I also think it might have appeared automated and that wordpress is great but its a red flag from the get go for this sort of operation. He had lots of money invested, content writers, link monkeys and so on. I'm not saying this does not work but people should be aware of what can happen when the red flags go up.

    do i understand you correctly,

each of your sites revolve in a specific product?

i.e.. site 1 focused on laptop bags then site 2 is all about game consoles and so on.

then you write articles for that product.

    do you target keywords?

do you buy new domain for each of your sites or you have a generic domain and put all of these sites as subdomains?

Yup. A specific product as in "laptop bags.com", not as in "swiss gear 15 inch laptop bag.com".

then you write articles for that product.

      do you target keywords?
Yes and yes. In my articles I like to target specific brands of that product, sizes, types, material, colours, etc...

Definitely a new domain for each site. Always exact match (keyword.tld || tld == .net/.org/.com).

@ bay37 - in theory your plan does sound brilliant, but you do need to realize and be cognizant of the big "IF"

    It stands for Internet Footprints.

By launching that many sites, that fast - particularly with Adsense, you have in all probability already established at least one big IF! And that is with Google.

And believe this; the Big G is the LAST entity you want spotting "IF" Especially if your game plan is to make money with Adsense. By using your Adsense account, you made spotting your IF real easy.

Here are some other ways to leave IF that are easy to spot...

All of your sites are on the same host.
All of your sites have the same Class C IP address
All of your sites are registered at the same registrar
All of your sites have the same WHOIS data
All of your sites are inter-connected via links
All of your sites have the exact same links

It's great that you are an "AIM" an Aggressive Internet Marketer but you need to temper that aggressiveness with TIME.

Hey! Yeah... I'm not worried about Google closing any of my accounts anytime soon.

    bay37-

    Thanks for the response.

I have to agree with some of what is being said here. If you are doing adsense, and you are doing anything that may draw 'special' attention your way, you better make sure you are providing quality, content-rich sites (with more than 1 page of content etc.).

I can't believe that your sites would get de-indexed, but anything is possible, I suppose. Obviously, as everyone already knows, it is always best to follow the T.O.S./policy/quality guidelines, and keep things looking 'natural'.

    Best of luck to everyone.

AdSense sends me the check, I pay my worker $250/month and keep the balance, tell her to order articles and have a tool that give me these niches on auto-pilot.

    The system grows itself.
That's one way to do it.

I enjoy building medium sized websites (big enough to not be called "thin affiliate sites", but not too big for me to lose interest in building them). Feels good to see traffic pouring in, people commenting on my articles, etc.

Also, one thing I found with my "smaller" sites - they need just as much maintenance as the big ones (in terms of holding/going up in rankings). Perhaps it's the keywords that I go for (not the lowest possible competition, I guess).

After this is all done, if I manage to get to $50/day with this batch of sites, I'll be sitting on a $60-$70k/year business working around 4-6 hours a day, which is pretty awesome for me. Most of that time is spent working on my other ecommerce site (just one), which is actually my own brand of a very popular product, so orders/shipping/support take up a few hours a day.

How far are you from 6 figures/month? That's some goal right there.

This is almost exactly what I'm doing with my ecommerce site. The only difference is that I only promote one type of product and I have created my own brand (I import the products from far east).

I also own a "test" website in a very popular niche. About half a year ago I decided to throw a ton of links (read tens of thousands) at it and target a very high volume local search phrase... as of today I rank #2 in Google UK for that particular phrase (outranking all large businesses in that area) ha ha! Get around 250 visitors/day. Not monetizing it just yet (too many projects).

      Day 8 update.

      Earnings:

      Adsense: $0.38
      Amazon: nothing

Launched 3 more websites yesterday. I wanted to also note that only 3 of my websites so far have ads on them, while the rest are just sitting there waiting for me to monetize them.

I have again started building a custom tool, this time it's a content spinner that can take any article and spin it to 30%-40% uniqueness. This should help me a lot with link wheel building later on in month 2 or so.

Originally Posted by woodgate View Post

Erm, I'm not sure what you mean, but here goes:

All I do when I launch a website is this:

      1. launch a 4-5 page site. Wait until it gets indexed.
      2. Social Bookmark the site (50-100 SB submissions). Wait 2-4 days.
      3. Start adding ads.
      4. Add content every few days.

      That's it for starters.

Later on (30-60 days in) I like to create link wheels targeted to my best selling keywords/pages. I then either social bookmark the web 2.0 properties or run a ton of profile links to them.

For even bigger websites, I like to do this:

      1. Create quality link wheels for every keyword phrase/page that is doing well/sells. Then I SB those link wheels.

      2. Register 2-3 related .info domains and fill them up with 3-4 pages of quality content. Then I point links from those sites to my main page and/or top 3 keywords/pages.

Then I create 2-3 medium quality link wheels targeting phrases related to those that the .info domains are targeting and send a ton of profile links/SBs to those link wheels. (edit: just to be clear here - those medium quality link wheels link to the .info domains).

All of my link wheels are "open". I just like to call them "link wheels" for w/e reason.

          Hey!

Most of the time my "link wheels" aren't connected together, so that pretty much eliminates any footprints right there. Also, all of the web 2.0 pages that link to my money pages are of pretty good quality. No problems so far.

If the other 27 websites start bringing in the same amount of money (or I get lucky with one or two sites and they make me a lot more $$) once I add ads to them - I should be able to achieve my 1st goal on time. Good stuff.

                        Hey Jim,

Most of my pages contain 1 long text link to Amazon and one of those Adsense text link units (see attachment).

You can also try removing the Adsense link unit and placing one of the horizontal Adsense boxes right above the title of the article. That really depends on how targeted the Ads that Google is showing on your website are. Sometimes there aren't enough advertisers bidding on your keywords (especially for link units).

I do not link to Amazon through any of the pictures, as I think it's a little misleading to send your readers straight to Amazon every time they click a picture (people like to click on images). It is, however, a good idea to show a pop up window with a larger version/versions of product picture/pictures and have a link to Amazon right at the bottom of the window.

I try to provide an "experience", not just send my visitors to another website as quickly as possible.

Yup. When I first started building websites I used to focus mainly on Adsense, but then one day I switched most of my links to Amazon/other networks and nearly tripled my earnings overnight.

thanks for the layout - interesting approach. Only two outward links for monetization, the rest on-site navigation.
Yeah. Good CTR though. And I also want to survive any manual reviews or whatever else Google decides to do with my sites.

You have set up a nice objective. It seems you are very commited to achieving your goal. I find it interesting that you are taking on such a massive project when you are apparently already successful monetizing your other online activities. Why do you want to venture into this area that will obviously take up an enormous amount of time. Do you plan to outsource anything to help take the load off your shoulders? Good luck in your meeting and exceeding your goal.

      Hey,

I spend a lot of time working that's true, however... I just love what I'm doing at the moment - building websites, writing bots/software/managing writers/etc.

The review sites that I currently own are well on their way to earning $2000 this month. I haven't updated any of them in some time now, but the traffic/earnings seem to be constantly improving.

My end goal for this new batch of 30 sites is ~$2500-$3500/month on *almost* auto-pilot. It will take a lot longer than 60 days to get there, but I have no doubt that those numbers are very realistic.

I outsource most of the content writing... At first finding good writers was kind of tough, but then after some 6-8 failures I ran across a small team of very good writers (at $1/100 words), whom I've been using ever since.

My ecommerce website is a completely different project - I source a product from Asia and use PPC/SEO to get sales. The SEO part of it is also a lot different from what I'm doing with these niche product sites. This site takes up ~2hours/day of my time, which isn't too bad. I have an assistant who pretty much runs the site, apart from managing paid traffic campaigns.

      It's all good.

Few questions, how are you getting indexed by google so quickly?
Are you hosting all these on a server of your own?
How many articles are on the sites before google has indexed them to do well in searches?
What are you doing to get links quickly?

      Day 14.

      Earnings:

      Adsense: $0.28
Amazon: $7.62 (funny... someone bought 12 books)

I'll spend the day adding new content to my sites.

I don't really know why, but Google always finds my websites days, sometimes hours after launch. Sometimes even before I get a change to add any content to the sites.

Are you hosting all these on a server of your own?
I'm currently using 3 separate hosting accounts (VPS + 2 shared).

How many articles are on the sites before google has indexed them to do well in searches?
What are you doing to get links quickly?
I start with ~5 articles and then add more over time.

And for some quick boost right at launch I social bookmark my sites.

Getting excited about this and best of luck to you bay37!

I have not yet experienced this kind of coding and tweaking that you're doing but it's good to learn few more concepts about starting with social bookmarking then with Wordpress plugins all set up in the process.

I bet you're going to hit your goal soon!

Hi bay37. Great job so far on your progress. I love following your progress. Would you mind letting us know how many sites you have up and running as well as how many you have monitized along with your earnings updates?

This thread has been the most motivation I have gotten in a while. Keep up the great work.

    Hi Bay37,

Just a question for you, just rereading your original post you say that you go for keyword phrases that have between 3000 and 9000 exact searches a month and that you don't really analyze your competition.

My question is: do you check the number of competition at all - allinurl, allintitle or even just the exact match competition numbers? Do you go for niches with little competition under a certain exact match number or do you not look at competition whatsoever for your keyword phrase?

I have enjoyed reading this thread and seeing your progress, keep up the good work you are doing well. That is very inspiring for others.

    Thanks for sharing

      Hey,

      Thanks for your kind words!

As for your question - nope, I do not analyze my competition at all. Perhaps I should be, but from what I've seen so far - most of the keywords that match my search criteria have very low competition. I always outrank other mini sites/MFA sites/articles/some Amazon pages.

I'm very sorry to hear that you aren't seeing any success with your sites.

You are right when you say that setting up the sites is the easy part. You can always do more link building, change the templates or add more content, but you can never go back and change the domain name/main keyword.

Even if I only spent 60 mins setting up a site (including content creation), I believe most of them would still earn somewhere in the region of $0.25-$0.5/day. Give me a few days - I'll write up a long article on how to select keywords/domain names.

It really isn't that I don't know how or don't have the tools. I have learned some great things from Steven R and his supersimpleblogging. I am getting better at selecting domains, but as of right now, I haven't been able to find any exact match in my niches, and what I still own from before learning better ways, well......they pretty much suck. Maybe I can drive some traffic to them with some keyword specific articles to at least pay me back for the domain name and give me a bit of cash to get some better domains.

I still look forward to hearing your techniques on keyword research and selecting domains.

      Day 17.

      Earnings:

      Adsense: $0.39 (2 sites)
      Amazon: $9.02 (8 sites)

Been adding extra content to my sites. Some pages now have over 1000 words of content. Hopefully this will help my rankings/increase traffic.

      Hey,

It's a simple bot that I wrote myself... I always achieve 100% success rates when submitting my bookmarks and they seem to bring in great traffic (around 200-400 uniques over 30 days). I wasn't happy with any of the tools out there, so I wrote my own.

If I was to sell it, it would certainly be priced at over $100. However, mostly because of the amount of support needed when releasing a product like this, I don't think I'll be selling it, sorry.

I'm mainly monetizing with Amazon, true.

I'm building those sites for the long term. I don't want to be chasing multiple merchants/networks and constantly switching offers. Also, the niches that I'm in are very well targeted towards selling quality physical products.

When I see a hot new CPA offer I might jump on it quickly, grab a domain name and try to rank for a few keywords fast/cash in if I get lucky, but it never lasts. Amazon is great for set -> establish -> forget sites.

Amazon yeah, but adsense i would say you a wrong. You could always do a combination of both adsense or affiliate offer, but this depends on your niche.

Wait a second, with links from social sites like stumble upon you dont get seo results, since all of the links there are nofollow, you can get referral traffic and get indexed but thats all.
