Is this the result of the sandbox effect? I have about 4 articles pointing to the site, have bookmarked practically every page, pinged them, and have some do follow blog commenting done, and no dice. It's in the male enhancement industry, so maybe thats why?

Your niche could well be the problem, it's definitely not your links. Also, are you using a wordpress blog?

Digg is very effective to get pages index, but you need a lot of authority backlinks to get your site index...

Try profile links, a lot of it - Angela backlinks seems to be very good for the job.

....And you might want to check to see if the domain name was used before and de-indexed.

I had that happen to me once, I bought a domain which was keyword focused that I didn't realize had actually existed once. I guess google must have hated the old site because mine never got indexed.

I couldn't figure out why, then one day looked in the wayback machine (archive.org) and saw that someone had actually registered it a couple of years ago!

Try going to ismysiteindexed.com and submit it. That will remind Google to look at it.

Also, MIXX, Reddit and Digg it

You might even want to try doing a quick Squidoo lens

Think I might try this, thanks.

Yeah I bookmarked it in mixx, reddit, digg, blinklist, propeller, etc.

Agree with all of this, that was the plan originally, I wanted to wait until it got indexed before i started using 2.0 properties for backlinks. You prob right though, i should just start building those pages now. I would just hate to build all those pages, and then nothing gets indexed. Would be a big waste of time.

First of all, do site:yoursite.com to make sure that it isn't there already. Sometimes tools like SEOQuake and the like don't pick up new indexing that quickly.

If you aren't indexed, then authority links is going to be your best path to getting indexed. For example, I launched a brand new .info site last night and right now it has 33 pages indexed in Google. Why? A few authority links.

Also, as Lee said, make sure that the domain hasn't been used before. Sometimes Wayback doesn't have all the info so you'll need to go to Whois lookup and Domain name search and check for the number of times it's been registered (should be one if it's new) and the size of the Whois history.
