OK I am getting slightly pissed off here
I joined Maxbounty two weeks ago and decided to start promoting an email submit for a free Ipad
1.40$ per email
Wasnt expecting to make huge money but enough to get started
Set up a PPC campaign on twitter and started sending traffic
Had problems with conversions
(ceck my other thread here)

So tweeked the ad a bit and my conversions improved
The only problem that the tweeter PPC wasnt geo targeted but the offer only accepted US traffic.
However the US traffic was converting at between 10 and 15%

So signed up to bidvertiser which allows geo targeted traffic
Set a budget and hoped for a 15% coversion rate (this would mean a profit of 5$/day I'd scale it up later)

The campaign started today and I have 92 clicks and 1 conversion
I have spent 5,60€ and made about 1,05€

Whats wrong surely such an offer should covert at a rate better that 1%
Is the problem the offer or the traffic
Anyone any other experience with
bidvertiser
What the hell is wrong

The PPC Ad by the sounds of it gives a different story to the searcher than your website. Does your PPC focus on benefits rather than features? Does your website focus on benefits to the customer too?

Clearly you had a much better conversion rate doing PPC on Twitter. Why not go back to that and scale it up?

Maybe the landing page simple does not convert?

Also, you should try out different traffic sources.

You need quality, laser-targetted traffic from the right source to convert.

    thanks
The 1st twitter ads just mentioned that you can get a free Ipad but as I said didnt convert
So I changed it and said you had to submit your email and rate improved but as I said the traffic isnt geo targeted

The ads I am using on bidvertiser have the same text

Try out different advertising platforms as well as rotating offers until you find an offer that will convert (with that specific traffic).

Work on a strategy that will bring you a positive return on your investment. Because if not, then it will not become a profitable campaign.... which is the opposite of what you're aiming for

So my recommendation would be - to check out other sources of traffic. Trust me, there are plenty.

Is there any PPC networks that you recommend or other source of paid traffic
What kind of conversion rate should I be getting or such offers

i have not tried bidvertiser, i got email from them yesterday , they are giving me free $25 to start with because i have not used them for 5 months now

I get traffic from ppv sources, last time i got 100 clicks with ppv traffic and got like 7 leads, for macbook email submit offer.

So it depends upon which method you are using to get clicks, just do some research on different methods, and find out which one work well for you.All methods have different advantages so you have to experiment .

Well, welcome to Adwords and CPA/Affiliate Marketing, where 98% of people have the same problem and only 2% succeed.

It might be your ad wording, your offer, landing page..sadly such conversion rates are VERY common.... i simply cant see it working out if you get paid $1.40 per successful submit. What are you paying per click?

    I am paying around 10c a click
As I said I was hoping for around a 15% conversion
Which I didnt think was that high just for submitting an email
I have a IM squeeze page that gets around about a 30% conversion rate
I am going to try a similar offer that pays 3$ per sign up
I dont know if it will work but worth a shot
