$0.02 and $2.67 from clicks.. Same niche

I am experiencing a lot of variation in revenue from google. as said in subject line..

Is there any set strategy so only high paying ads are displayed... It suck big time when you sometimes get $1 and the other time you get 10 cents.

    I have the same issue. I'm not sure whether the important variable is the ad or the person clicking it. I seem to get very little per click in the morning (when the traffic comes from Latin America) and then about ten times as much in the afternoon from Europe.
    Be great to hear some more thoughts.

      Europe is more developed and people have more money to spend. There are probably more advertisers willing to part with cash for these users. It could be that there is greater context-ual and relevent ads for these users.
      Perhaps it might be an idea to see what ads are being shown to users from different counties by posing as a user from different countries and viewing the website.
      As for payout ranging from $0.02 to $2.69, the nieche might not have enough advertisers thus have to show lower paying ads. Or it could be that the kewords are relevant for the very low paying ads as well as the more expensive ones.
      Best to check out google keyword tool to see the price of ads for the keywords in the articles.

    Google Adwords/Adsense is not NICHE based but KEYWORD based. And yes, originating traffic plays a role too.

    There should be ways to filter out unwanted advertisers on the Adsense interface.
