Few noob questions on Google Keyword Tool vs SpyFu stats

This is my first post on WF, so hi to everbody, great place with many interesting threads. Now, i would be greatful if you try to explain me few things that really confuse me.
few things i need to get clear:
1. i noticed that for the same keyword google KTE says it has "very high advertisers competition", SpyFu says it only has 4 advertisers.?
2. i see less number of adword ads on my keyword in Google that spyfu says it has. is it becuase i am not in usa, so these advertisers that are missing are USA only??
3. SpyFu has very interesting stats for Clicks/Day, and it shows estimated expected Click throughs for adword campaigns, depending on height of advertiser biddings, but does this only show clicks from google results page? if so, what about clicks through adsense ads on other sites, for that same keyword?
4. in google keyword tool, does broad match type return search volume stats on the variations of the given keyword only, or it counts search volume for "other keywords + my keyword" combinations also. in other words if i put in keyword tool "island apartments" broad match type, does it count "carribian islands apartments" when calculating search volume?
