Link Juice And Redirects

Does anyone know if you add a redirect to a domain whether that link juice gets passed on?
Say for example you have site A with 100 backlinks.
You then setup site A to automatically link to site B.
Does site B get credit for those backlinks? Or is there no way to transfer link juice like that.
