Making Wordpress site with 50 outbound links nofollow

Does anybody know how to automate this? I just realized the importance of nofollow.

I used the tag <meta name="ROBOTS" content="NOFOLLOW"> in my page. This works but it also nofollow page links in the sidebar. Would that be a problem? The sidebar page links on different pages are dofollow.

That brings me to another question, if you have a page and its nofollow on one page and dofollow on another on the same website, does that affect your rankings to that page?

whatever it is your thinking... it's probably a bad idea and/or not going to give you the results you want.

You're wasting your time trying to nofollow all of the links on your page. It's not going to benefit you at all.

    but for the html challenged...

    <a href="http://webpage.com" title="keyword" alt="keyword" target="_blank" rel="nofolow">anchor text</a>

...has you covered in every way imaginable

You could use a plugin like SEO Smart Links (WordPress › SEO Smart Links WordPress Plugins) to make all links in posts no follow but keeps navigation links intact.

Sorry, but you did not "realize the importance of nofollow."

Nofollow links are pointless. You personally putting nofollow
links on a page is not what nofollow is for.

nofollow does not pas PR. That's it. If you really have a disdain
for a link, here's tip: take it down.

Having a nofollow link does not affect PR to the link. It does nothing.
It doesn't hurt, it doesn't help. Not helping does not mean hurting.

But again, kind of pointless to use nofollow.

Nofollow does not mean no crawl or no index.

Sorry, I mean I want to make nofollow 50 links on ONE pages, not the whole website, in wordpress

So, what is your purpose for this?

These are all outbound links, but I built the site to give backlink to other site. I heard if you have a site with 51 dofollow links it will make smaller the effect of the 1 backlink. So if I make noffolow 50 links the 1 link gets worth more I think.

        That's what I read everywhere.
