Hello,

I just purchased a 4 year old domain that contains my keywords. It is listed in G/Y/B directories but it has no backlinks. Is there an advantage to using this domain over new keyword rich domain?

Thanks,
Mike

Of course.... assuming all things are equal - but when is this ever the case?

There are going to be many factors that dictate where you do and do not rank, domain age - although not a massive factor - is certainly one of them.

It is your job now to start building high quality, relevant backlinks to your "newly acquired" domain.

    Good luck

Google takes domain age into consideration when ranking sites.

An old domain is good for you. You will need to focus on link building now.

Just be hard working! And you will be successful!

Considering it is listed in g/y/b... Those are 3 backlinks right there

Worthy of development? Sure... why not, you already got a head start with some link juice!

    Good luck.
