How long after your google image ads have been approved does it take for them to run? My image google ads have been approved but there is no activity and it has been about 6 hours, I have 5 different campaigns and 7 different groups and over a thousand keywords for each ad group and still there is no activity, does it take some time for them to start showing up? thanks...

Once ads are approved, they are available to be served.

For the search network, the activity depends on how many searches are done on your keywords. Data is not real-time and is not even updated at the same time (you can have a click show up but no impression if you look at the right moment). So there is not much point to check it throughout the day.

As you say this is a content network campaign, one thing jumps out at me which you are doing wrong. When using keywords on the CN, Google figures out a theme. You need tightly related words and Google itself says 5-20 are needed. Too few, it can't figure out your theme and ads don't show (or show often and on unwanted sites). Too many as in your case, the keywords are almost surely not tightly related and the system cannot figure out your theme and your ads don't show.

Just doesn't make sence.. thanks for an advise though..
