Posts page help

Hello everyone!

I have a question about the "post page" when setting up a blog for SEO.
Well I guess that is the question

Whats the best way to do it?
Leaving it blank w/ the title "blog" doesn't seem very SEO friendly to me.
And..
If I commit that page to a keyword, as I would if it was NOT the post page.. It appears not to be avail from SEO perspective.

Example:
If I devote the page to the keyword "cat box."
Someone finds it thru SEO & they are taken to the most recent post which may be something like "cat medicine." ~Which of course is NOT what they are searching for.

I hope my question is clear as I am finding it a bit difficult to put down in text.

Advice?

  • I sometimes just use the word 'blog', but more often than not I add a general keyword in front. Like 'Cat Blog' or 'Travel Blog'.

Then use the All-In-One-SEO pluging to dynamically generate the keywords from the current posts on the blog page.

    • Simple enough.
      Thanks vegas
