Google Backlinks Gone

Yesterday I had 75 links in google, then I submitted 3 spinning articles to about 400 directories each. So about 1,200 links total if they were all successful and immediate.

A few hours later I look on google and I already had a few links showing up from the efforts.

A few hours later, NO LINKS.

If google is penalizing me, will I ever get credit for the links back. I dont mind loosing out on the article links but the previous links were real and quality links that I dont want to loose.

  • You should really not care about how many links google is displaying. The important thing to consider is where you rank, and the traffic and income from that position.

    Did you lose rank, or did you gain rank after you submitted the articles? (Should take a few weeks before you know the answer)

      I was checking the links to see how well backlinking project was working. I felt like I was accomplishing something.

      I never really ranked well, page 13, that is why I started the article linking. I was just afraid I shot myself in the foot.

  • you should check backlinks after ~3-4 weeks then most of them will appear.
  • You need to wait for a longer time. Google will not show your backlinks quickly nor will they show them all. Just make sure there are traffic from your links.
