Getting Links Indexed?

I've read a few threads that mention getting links indexed. I've also read the same thing about articles. I want to make sure I understand this correctly. Do I need to submit each link I build and/or article that gets accepted to a submission service? Do I also need to submit new content on my site? Thanks.

If you are asking about getting your links indexed - anyone of those techniques above will work. Sometimes, it's as simple as using sig links from a forum to get a link indexed.

Thanks. How does a signature link in a forum help to get links indexed?

For the most part, you shouldn't have to worry about your links getting indexed. Google is very good at crawling links that are of any value.

However, you can always do social bookmarking, or similar methods to your backlinks to make sure they get indexed.
