Quick question about indexing

It already has been indexed then, if you mean why has it not appeared as the first result in the rankings - there are numerous reasons why - probably a lack of backlinks would be a good place to start.

Thanks for the quick help. That means I managed to get it done under 5 days

Going to get some more backlinks then... Basically the first results are the PR4-5 backlinks I cannot compete with at the mom.

its ok, quick tip for next time though, if you want your site indexed quickly then just social bookmark it and it can be indexed in as little as 10-20 mins.

also, with regards to your backlinking efforts, search the warrior special offer forum as there are some great reports in their regarding back link building.

I would leave squidoo personally, they are removing all over the place for very minor reasons, hubpages is a good one to use instead. With regards to specifically which backlink guides are good... thats probably best left to another warrior out there, I've never bought one but many look good. I've always used my own strategy.

Good job on your first WP site getting indexed. As someone mentioned, social bookmarking helps. There are also sites & tools that will ping your site to multiple authority sites (from about 40 to hundreds, depending on what you use).

Now you need to build good backlinks. Get a well-rounded backlink campaign going with any/all - a mixture of the following:

Blog commenting on blog posts related to your niche
Blog commenting on high PR posts
Participate in forums with your signature linking to your blog
Social bookmarking
Doing guest posts on other related blogs
Contacting sites in your niche to request links
Building web 2.0 properties that link to your site

These are only just a few, some of the main ones people use. There are, of course, numerous other backlinking methods out there.

Thanks a lot. I will get to work now... I think I will go with hubpages and blo posts... I have actually built a profile on PRlogs and that's result no 1. So I will keep on building backlinks and yes, I have already been contacted for linking on a blog directory, before the blog got indexed, so that might be a way to go...

So is it like half way through? I mean for the search terms it is not coming up yet even if I put in the name only for the web address, but it si normal. Alexa hasn't started to quantify yet, but went to Google webmaster tools and "Crawlie Spider has been there yesterday and today already...
