Hello warriors I have a big problem. I have this website click here doing well for a few keywords. The number one keyword was dating with women however I started increasing back links to it and Google has thrown me of the first page. I was on the first page for dating with women until a few days ago. It seems that they pushed me all the way in the back. Now my traffic has dropped. I haven't been de-indexed but I was wondering if anyone knows why?

I would be happy to here your opinions on it.

It happens, so sit and wait for 2-3 days it'll fix itself to way back on track. There's not much you can do at this point, don't worry.

It's just the dance, dear. Sometimes when something about your site/blog changes (I know, pretty technical language), Google make it do a little dance through the SERPS.

Trust me when I say that it's most likely just a temporary thing. No need to freak out. Just continue to build links as you have been. Your site will come back.

Is this a newish site? I have been doing some testing with the Google dance and in my experience it only happens when domains are relatively new and fresh with little or no authority.

One reason for the Google dance that I strongly believe in, is this.. When a new domain is well optimised for SEO, has backlinks coming in and consequently gets indexed, Google want to test it out to see how visitors interact with it.

If you are wondering how Google know how visitors interact with webpages then just remember they are collecting all sorts of data through, Google Analytics, Google Chrome, Google toolbar, Google Webmaster tools etc.. In fact they have many different ways to record visitor interactions with our sites.

I believe, they artificially inflate well optimised pages from "untrusted" websites in their index to get a measure of how visitors interact with the pages. If their data sees poor visitor interaction (high bounce rate, short time on site etc..) that will have a negative impact on your site's page rankings.

The dance is all part of the process as it tests various other new sites as well, you see your pages drop and then they come back to test your pages again and the process repeats until they have some good data to work out a more stable ranking. In other words they test to see whether your pages are actually worthy of high rankings before giving them to you.

I hasten to add, this is only my theory, I don't work for Google and have no proof as such but my testing has led me to believe in this theory more and more.
