Hey Warriors,

Last September (2009) the "Big G" (a.k.a. Google) released some interesting news about an update they made to the way they display search results:

Recently, we've enhanced the search snippet with two new features that make it easier to find information buried deep within a page.

Now, what does this mean for Search Engine Optimization?

It means there are some "new" on-site SEO factors that need to be focused on (not in an obsessive way).

If you're a webmaster and would like to have these links appear for your webpages, take a look at the Google Webmaster Central Blog...
Check out the recommendations "straight from the horse's mouth"

I know this wasn't major, but every little tip helps! Talk soon

Tommy Bussey

Tommy, I appreciate the tip so here's one for you. If you just enter the URL directly into your message it will be a live link so no one will have to copy and paste.

Unable to post links aside this is useful info that I had missed. It seems to be most relevant to sites with long pages where these hyperlinks allow readers to jump directly to the section that they wanted. Just Google hosting the contents page really.

Definitely one to bear in mind though.
