Domain Name Problem

Hey everyone

I was hoping that I might be able to get the advise of a couple of SEO ppl.

I wanted to know the SEO power or lack of power of buying a .ca or .us or .asia or any other geo targeted domain.

Can these domains get ranked as well or do they take a lot of extra work to get into the world market?

  • Steve take Kijiji for instance.. they have a .ca and it ranks well. I personally go for .coms with all of mine, though I have in mind a new site where I will be getting a .ca to focus on canada and a .com for usa

    They dont take more time to get into the world market

    If you are trying to target Uk, a xxx-domain.co.uk who make sure it's easier to rank in UK. However, it's extremely hard to rank a .co.uk site on Google.com

    If you are a xxx-domain.com website, it's slightly tougher to get ranked on UK market but you can target any Google Geo Location.
