What do you do to index and rank new sites quickly?

Hey Warriors,

I have been starting to develop adsense sites and I
have been looking for tips and tricks to get new sites
indexed and ranked quickly.

I am using several ideas, but I don't know what is the
best practices for getting adsense sites up and running.

I feel like it's taking forever, and I don't even know if thats
a reasonable response.

If you are doing it right, whats the average amount of time
you should expect it to take to get indexed and ranked?

Here is what I have tried so far across 3 adsense sites.

1) was to go to google webmaster tools, get the site registered
and sitemap visible, then I used web ceo to submit the site to
the list of search engines available there. I also used BookMarkWiz
to make a few links into the site. The Site itself is fully seo
optimized according to webceo best practices. This means when
googlebots look at it they should approve it and rank it accordingly.

2) the second site I used Bookmarkwiz quickindex feature and
that was 2 days ago. BMW says you should become visible within
hours. I didn't think they meant like 48 of them. So far no love.

3) I used another trick on a site I learned from Willie. I went to
the google keyword research tool and ticked the option to get
keywords from website. Then I ticked the box that asks if you
want URL's included in the search, which sends spiders from
google instantly, and I have heard can get you indexed in 24 hours.
No luck yet.

So, what do you do to get your sites visible and ranked quickly?

This shouldn't be sensitive information, I don't think.

Thanks in advance for your reply

~Chris

In my experience, you'll want to use Ping-o-Matic! to get a site indexed quickly. If it is a blog then I would ping each page as you post it.

This has worked very well for me in the past.

Assuming you have good original content, a good keyword domain, and a decent amount of pages,

Write an article in a few high ranking directories, blogger, a few press releases, and let it sit for a few days and see what happens.

It should get indexed fairly quickly to find out if it is indexed type this

        site:http://nameofsite.com

then start bringing traffic to your site once it is indexed to make sure it stays where you want it.

I always use keyword domains so I know I can easily rank for my main keyword to start with. Hope that helps a little

Honestly, if you're working with wordpress it shouldn't take much more than getting a link to your site on any (dofollow) site that is crawled often.

Since you are probably building backlinks to your site, worry about getting those indexed and not your site.

Google will find you... you can't run, you can't hide, google will always find you.

And yes, you're site will probably pop-up as indexed for a few days and then disappear again for a couple more and after a week or two as the data centers all get their act together you should be cool like Fonzie.

    It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Unless you think you're going to make six figures from your site tomorrow, I wouldn't worry about it that much. If we're talking a month, then you might have an issue.

Most of the times Google will index a new website gradually, yes. That is at least what I have observed with most of my websites. The speed at which Google will index all your internal pages will depend on different factors though. If you get some very trusted and relevant back links, and on top of that you also have a very efficient internal link structure, all your internal pages will get indexed fast. If, on the other hand, you have very few back links and a poor link structure, it might take a while before you get to see all your pages indexed. Keep in mind that using the manual URL submission to Google will have a small impact upon the speed and breadth of your indexation. In fact many people recommend that if you want to get a site indexed fast you should NOT use that feature, and rather focus on getting some trusted back links to your site.

I find that if I write a press release using PRlog that will usually get a good ranking and if it back linked correctly you adsence will soon be indexed by Google. After that as others have said you site will be in and out of Google before its settles in a position.

I also suggest getting an RSS feed into your site to keep content updated.

This is what i do: Create a link from another site I own.

Thats it. You can mess around with social bookmarking all day or just create a link.

Another quick method that works is to create simple webpages all with links to your site and aslo place adverts with backlinks from online classfied sites which get regular visits from search engine spiders
