Can you point me to one really good ebook/article on SEO?

I saw these guys selling services for like 5000 links for like 100 dollars, and I thought that adding so many links quickly is a big no-no for google.

Maybe I am missing something.

I just started a new website and want to see what I need to do for SEO. Should I just get those SEO services?

Thanks. I looked at your site. Good info, but I think I am looking for advanced techniques.

Be careful with what you buy. I know from personal experience most products are colossal rehashes. Read all you can on here and you will find out that it is enough. Most products have info that you could of read here for free.

That being said SEO doesn't need to be super complicated.
        -Articles
        -Forum profiles
        -Blog commenting
        -Certain directories
        -Do Follow socialbookmarks
-Forum posting w/ link (dont spam)
And make all this look decently natural. Don't overdo anything.

lol. Thats not even close to being what SEO is. Thats just low quality link building. SEO is much more than that. Interesting the pros that wrote the book above hardly rate the things in your list

Yes sorry for not writing another typical "$537.83 a day" for $24.99 WSO on SEO in my post . My point was you can learn most of SEO for free on various forums. On page optimization, link building, ETC it's all been covered here and various other internet sources a million times.

Really? I want all my competitors to come here to the Warrior Forum or go to places like Digital Pointless and learn their SEO. It will make my job easier.

I sell one for $77. I won't insult you by spamming the link here, PM me if you'd like it.

The major benefit is that in the members area of the site, there is a large quantity of other SEO material - products to which I've obtained resale and bonus rights - and it really covers a lot of stuff.

Both I and my customers have been very impressed by the material from Matt Bush. I've got resale rights to several of his products, and they're all top notch.

So if you're looking for something less expensive, search around for some of his stuff... "SEO Education 101" and "WordPress SEO Secrets Revealed" are an excellent combination. And since the resale rights are out there, you may be able to find them at a very low price; I'd try searching TradeBit for them.
