What's the Best Way to Age a Domain?

Ok, I just bought some really good keyword rich domain names, but here is the question...

How should I let them age?

I have never parked a domain before, but is this a good option?

I just don't have time to develope these sites yet and I want them to grow in value as they age. I could also set up a wordpress site with a few basic pages. Ultimately I will use these sites for adsense.

Just wondering what you guys think. Thanks in advance for your input.

I don't think google cares much about aged domains,
    especially parked ones.

Why did you buy a domain you have no intention of
cultivating? It will not get more valuable as long as
    it's parked.

Your domain is parked until you do something, preferably
    with the index page.

The best "aged" domain, is one connected with a website
that has built trust over time.

      Well stated!

Studies have shown that brand-new, 90-day-old sites can rank quite well... with the right amount of SEO work.

Age is one of the least important SEO factors.

Well, I do intend on cultivating the domains. I just can't do it right now. I wanted to buy them before someone else got them, but in the mean time I want the domains to age a little instead of just sitting empty.

If you're using wordpress, simply publish the "hello world" page. If you do html sites, do the same with something/anything on the page and publish. That way, you get them going right away. Best to put something useful about the keyword on the page though. If you do it right and your keyword is not too competitive, you may end up on page 1! I've seen that with parked pages.

Not truly parked pages. Putting Hello world is not parking a domain.

Parked pages will hardly ever show up, unless they became
recently parked. I can't think of a case where a parked domain
would show. A truly parked domain, never published. Google
would not list it. If you search for a parked domain, normally
the host or page that is offering or holding the page will show.

There is a HUGE difference between a parked domain and one that
has something on it. Even if it is just one page.

From my own experience, as long as the domain is older than a few weeks, it is fine.

I'd go with this option. Why? I dunno, it's what I do

Install wordpress, create a single post/article about whatever your site is about and forget about it. Tack on your adsense code to the end of the post or in the sidebar so you at least have the potential of making $.02 off the site until you get around to working on it.

If you have several of these sites this might take a day or a weekend but I think it's the best route to take.

I wouldn't go the parked page route.

I get the impression from your questions that this isn't so much an aged domain question but more of a what do I do with these domains until I get around to building sites for them question.

Throw up some content, generate 10-20 backlinks, and let them age away.
