Google Rankings - Personalized??

Hi there

I have noticed (as have others) that Google seems to like to "personalize" your search results. I have a feeling that accessing a website a lot from a certain computer or IP address seems to affect rankings.

I will sometimes check my rankings for a certain keyword from other computers or ISP's (such as in the best buy store) and I will get extremely different results. My website seems to be further down.

Is there anywhere I can find out more information about this? Are there any (working) tools that will check my actual rank or my rank for different datacenters?

    Google definitely does this. It's convenient for when you use search to hit up regularly visited sites, but inconvenient when you want an objective view.

    It also varies depending on country, so that's another thing to consider.
