Hi PPC gurus,

I've got a $100 adwords voucher that I want to use to hammer my squeeze page in the IM niche.

What advice would you give to a PPC newbie that is going to attempt this?

  • Should I limit my CPC, and to what price? (given that it is the IM niche)
  • Are there any free tools I should look at, other than the free google keyword tool?
  • Im going to add links from my squeeze page to content pages to increase quality score, anything else I should do on-page?
  • Any other advice you wish someone gave you when you started

    • probably just stay around the average cpc as per the current bidding for the keyword, lower it a bit if you wish.

    • Google key tool is all you really need / others may see it otherwise

yes have all supporting pages as well, ? about us, terms , privacy etc. etc.

keep an eye on especially in the first 24 hours that it does not crash n burn, if so and you get poor rating delete all offending keys. If its in the IM niche and its a make millions while you sleep at the beach type site also expect a crash n burn, but you may be OK.
$100 will not really even get you out of the blocks so unless you plan on continuing then ? in many ways the time and effort to set up might not pay, but then again you may get bitten by the google bug.

all the best with your outcome
