Quality Backlinking Blueprint

This is a theoretical Off Page Backlinking/Traffic plan. It is theoretical because there's one source of backlinking (Linkvana) that I haven't tried out yet. I've included it to my list because (after reading a ton of reviews) I'm pretty sure it is a quality backlinking option.

(Quality Links)

1) 15 to 20 postings on the Linkvana network. Linkvana has blogs that have PR's ranging from 1 to 3. The links you get are related and since you have to write unique posts for each link, the link juice won't get diluted by duplicate content. (Ideally, half of these links should go to the main page of your website.. the rest to inner pages. Good anchor text variation is the key)

2) 5 to 7 links from guest posts. I seriously don't get why people don't use this technique. Its amazing how much authority you can get from established blog links.

3) 10 articles each on Buzzle and Ezine. Ezine for the immediate surge of traffic. Buzzle for the high PR links. I always get a PR of 2 to 3 on all articles posted to Buzzle.

4) 25 well built web 2.0 properties. I've notcied that these give more rise to rankings than tons of splogs(google it!)
The correct way to create quality web 2.0 properties is to have good content. I try to have around 700 words for each of my properties(unique content). Then.. you got to nurture it. Make it stronger. If you see how most of these properties work, you'll notice its pretty easy to get a ton if high PR internal links. let me explain:
If you comment on a high PR Squidoo blog.. you're sending link juice to your squidoo profile.. which in turn sends it to your lenses because they're linked to from your profile. This can be exploited on a lot of blogging platforms where your "comment url" is your page/blog on that platform.

5) 2 feeder blogs. I usually create these on Wordpress and Blogger. I set them up with around 5 to 7 unique posts each and usually have links for my main keywords.

(volume links)

1) Press releases. there isn't much to explain about this. I'm not a big fan, but it helps bring diversity to a linking profile.

2) Unique Article Wizard. Big BIG fan! I usually start this 3 to 4 months after the surge of quality links have been indexed and I have a few rankings already. The links are all PR 0 .. but they're volume links. This is best for targeting those long tail keywords you wouldn't want to waste quality links on. UAW allows you an endless number of different anchor text links.
I also link to my feeder blogs. You might want to link to the other web 2.0 properties using UAW.. but I prefer using the internal linking method I described above.

Other notes:

- I use a bit of forum backlinking as well.. but not signature linking. I try and put my link in between my post. This won't go well in the IM niches.. but in other niches .. good helpful links are appreciated.

- I taper down the linking after a few months and then just do UAW submissions with a low submission rate to keep things moving. i try and do one or two guest posts here and there so the flow of quality links keeps coming.

- I don't believe in Profile links or blog commenting. I know many will argue.. but Google has just started talking about blog comment links as spam.. and it won't be long before profile links fall in the same category.

- If any of you have read what Tom Goodwin writes on this forum.. you'll have come accross his posts on setting up a link network using seo hosting and expired domains. You might want to check that out if you're in a very competitive niche. Personally, I think Linkvana and guest posting should be able to provide the quota of quality links I need for a mid level competitive niche.
