query on adwords / seo / adsense. sincere req for advise.

hi all .. i need your kind advise on a few matters..

1 i run adwords content network in hope of increasing my regular reader base.. but 90% of clicks are bounces

2 i am totally 0 on seo. my site seem to fare better now but i have no clue why and how to improve.

3 my adsense performance dropped 20% in apr and 50% so far in may. is this only me?

    The Content Network is riddled with fraud. Lower your bids or start blocking sites.
    Even better, just do site placements.

      On the one hand, that's great advice - focus on site placements.

      On the other hand, your site is probably a big reason for the bounces. It's a confusing jumble visually.

      Certainly you want to improve the quality of clicks which you can do with hand-picked site placements. However, I can virtually guarantee you that your conversions - whatever a conversion for you might be - is going too remain low. The site is just to disorganized and disorienting.

      One other serious consideration: it is a violation of Adsense TOS to drive paid traffic to pages w/ Adsense on them.

        hi thanks.. can you share which aspect of the site is confusing? i am sorry.. it is a one man show and i tried my best.. the categories are at the top...

        hmmm about adsense, dont many sites to this? as long as it is not a made for ads site.. in fact google sent me voucher to try adwords, knowing i am a adsense user

          When I look at your site I really have no idea what you want me to do. Way too busy......

          The only thing my eye is pulled towards is the lender411 ad so unless that is making you a lot of money or is the main purpose of your site you have some issues.

          Honestly it makes my add kick in and I want to run for the hills.... Funny Videos???????? Seriously?????? What does that have to do with forex?? That is the first thing I would get rid off after doing something else with that attention hogging ad.

          You have to ask yourself a question.

          What do you want the visitors to your site to do?

          Then ask.

          How do I tell/show/get them to do that?

          Unless the main purpose of your site is to get people to click on the ads I would seriously cut back on all of the ads and anything else that takes away from the main purpose of your site. Unless you have an ad that is CURRENTLY making you some serious bank I would cut them all back until you can get people joining your site. Once you have a following I would then think about the best way to market to them. Right now all you are doing is chasing them away.

          As far as the adwords voucher goes Google sends them out to everyone and their brother. That does not mean that they think it is ok for you to use them on an adsense site. If both departments even let each other know that info ( and I doubt it) that does not mean you do not have other sites that you could use the voucher for.

      hi, i did site placements.. with auto bidding.. but it has been hours but 0 impressions .. i set budget to be $5 just to see how much it costs.. but it cant be the bids are more than $5 right? US and Western Europe. 20 sites with around 100 000 views each.

    For your particular situation I would recommend outsourcing your on-page SEO and advertising efforts to get out of your current slump. While you are having that taken care of for you, spend several days to a week thoroughly educating yourself in on-page SEO tactics and free advertising avenues. I recommend starting with article marketing.
