Adwords -> Affiliate Marketing -> Landing Page Help

Dear Warriors,

I have a question regarding my Google Adwords campaign. Well actually I have two but I can't post links or videos yet so I will have to stick to the first one:

1) How do you promote an affiliate product that you aren't using yourself?

I mean the most effective way to promote an affiliate product is if you have a personal experience with it yourself that you can tell a story about right? My dilemma, I found a "muscle building" affiliate product on clickbank that I would like to promote - but I'm not using it myself.

I have been thinking about creating an about page that explains I'm an affiliate marketer and that I am promoting this product because it's ranked as one of the best in clickbank or something similar. I would never want to flat out lie about using a product Im not actually using (even though that's what I'm really close to doing on my page at the moment and I hate it).

I'm sure some of you have experienced similar situations as an affiliate marketer?

Thanks for reading

Sry posted in the wrong forum as I wanted to share a video about my Google Adwords campaign related problem. Can't seem to move the topic myself?

    Sounds intriguing.

If you do set up a page like that, I'd love to know how it worked for you.

Here is the thing ... I don't feel very comfortable bonding with visitors and telling them my story about a particular affiliate product ... if I don't really have a story. I mean we are affiliate marketers right - we find a niche with a probvlem and present them with a product that can solve that problem. We can't use every single product and have our own story about it. Or can we?

I was curious as how other affiliates overcome this?

I haven't setup a page like that yet but I might give it a shot.
