To Boost or not to Boost

Hello Fellow Warriors,

I am sure most of you are aware that something funky is going on with google with respect to our rankings. Around May 1st one of my sites which was on page 1 suddenly dropped to page 7 for its main keyword.

I have around 500 profile forum links that are not indexed. Should I boost them and try to get them indexed?

I am unable to make a decision, on one hand the boost may help move my site up, on the other hand since google is probably rolling out Caffeine, maybe I should stay put and see what happens. I stopped all promotion on this site, just adding content.

Would like to know your opinion and advice

I see that no one has answered this one. Having those profiles indexed certainly won't hurt. It will probably not help very much either. You should get some real links instead. SEO freebies are one of the most effective ways in the world to waste a lot of time for nothing.
