Blog Commenting On High PR posts should give a big leap to your pagerank. Also by linking your sites with high pr forums and authority sites.

If I put many backlinks on PR1, PR2 blogs is it better than few links on a PR4 or PR5?

Do this each month and build your links slow.

Once a month 15 High Authority .EDU Links with Google Site Rank 4-8
Once a month 30 Web 2.0 Links with Google Site Rank 4-8
      Ping each anchor location..
Backlink your backlinks :-) (not many people know about this)

Dont always get backlinks to your front page mix things up a bit..

This will give you a big boost

OHHHH Content content content write a 300 word paragraph on your pages your promoting and mention the keyword you’re going to use as a anchor/backlink at least 5 times in the paragraph.
      Thanks about it....

As in "Backlink your backlinks", is that something similar to the link wheel concept? Or something else?

Wow.. A lot of really bad advice here. After reading these answers it's obvious that a lot of people are wasting their time in blog commenting, which no longer works.

Blog commenting no longer carries the weight that it once did, because it was used as a spamming tool by too many people. Google changed their algorythm about 4 months ago, specifically for this reason. Now you can waste your time blog commenting, and see very little to no improvements at all.

I tested this out by doing 100 blog comments on pr4-pr7 pages, over the course of two weeks. The following 2 weeks, I did another 100 comments on pr2-pr4 pages. The results? Nothing changed. No boost what so ever in google.

My biggest question is why do you want a high pr site? A pr0 can make you more money than a pr4. Worry more about getting your pages ranked for relevant keywords that produce traffic and sales, PR will come.

You cannot get high PR fast.

The update is only 4-5 times a year, next one in about
        2-3 months.

High PR is only related to backlinks. You need to get as
many high PR backlinks as possible.

An expired domain will lose it's PR.

If you want a high PR site today, buy one. That's as quick as
        it's going to be.

PR is not all there is. Wanting high PR quick is just nonsense.

Paulgl your right about PR its not all that on your own sites, lots of my new customers have page rank 1,2,3 and still get on the front page of google with very high competition.. Sample of my work "google (adult merchant accounts) look for alternativemerchantprocessing.com was number 1 with rank 2 just been boosted to 3 in the past week. All down to the SEO you do and picking the right consultant that can show you proof..

            I misread the post!
I answered the title, How to get a High PR Rank Fast ?
and not the post. The post says high PR link.

A high quick high PR backlink is one you own already. In fact,
that's a secret most don't like telling, or is not even thought of.
Most people like myself have a little stash of their own and don't
            go chasing rainbows.

Get your link in your sig file here. Not only is it decent PR, but
WF has very high trustworthiness with google, to say the least.

I actually did a test on this. I created one site and bought a 3 PR4 links and 1 PR 5 link. I did not make any more backlinks other than that. Result? PR 2 in a short time. Of course, I varied the links because my site has 5 pages. I am not saying it can be the same for you. But if it is PR you are after, what matters is the PR of the pages linking to you.

Actually PR is not that important because it affects only about 20 percent of search engine rankings. That said, if you do all the methods like blog commenting, article writing etc, your page rank should go up eventually. I have also used solely profile backlinks and that has helped my sites' PR go up too.

Higher PR sites linking to you will increase your PR but unfortunately Higher PR doesn't mean site traffic. Look for sites in your industry that have higher PR to link exchange with.

For People who want proof how high PR helps to rank then please see below example on our very own warriorforum.com

    1) Visit the below forum and the person says he is ranking for the term "dearest golf balls" now do a search for it in google and see which site actually comes up number one.

    http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...-keywords.html

    2) You see the warrioforum.com comes up as its a much older site and has PR 5 as to his site which is 0.

I don't mean so say the persons site is not good its just how google ranks stuff. Reputation counts more for them.

    cheers,
    Kachaloo

p.s - I predict after this post this page will show up for dearest golf balls

Please clarify what you are asking??? Your thread is entitled, "How to get a High PR Rank Fast?" As if your asking a question about how to obtain page rank. But your post reads, "I was wondering how can I get a high PR link Fast?"

      Which one is it?

You tested blog commenting and it didn't work for you and others are still doing it and it's working for them, so what does that mean? Recently, we have had a barrage of individuals starting threads and making posts asserting that backlinking does not work, article marketing is dead, don't get a blogger acct, Adsense is dead, spinning articles doesn't work anymore, forum profiles don't work, and yada, yada, yada...

To be clear, just becasue you attempted a specific IM action and had bad results doesn't mean that everyone else had your bad same experience. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you specifically, but it's working for others.

As to why a person would want a site with a high PR; one prime reason is the higher the PR, the easier it is to sell the site.

Years ago, I was breathing fire at Yahoo for charging $300 to gain entry into their directory. Today, my response is "Brilliant!" Getting in their directory can have a positively huge impact on your rankings and traffic!

I post a lot on forums already so I just added my link in my sig to all of them.

I do not think there is a fast way to get a high PR site, if there was, we would all have one, I think. And it would not mean much, to Google or to us.

It doesn't mean much anyway if you ask me. My old site was a Pr 3 and outranked a 6 easily in th same genre, for all of our keywords.

I know that you are interested in high page rank but page rank has changed a lot throughout the years..If you just look at that green bar you will fool yourself as Google is much smarter now and you have to use more intelligent link building if you want rankings. High page rank is one signal but there are many other factors to use to get high rankings if that is what you are looking for...

Did you know that high PageRank isn't the most important factor in SEO? It's simply one of many things to consider. The plain fact is, the pursuit of PageRank will have you do crazy things if you decide to chase it. Things that get in the way of creating a useful site.

Focus on your content. Think long and hard about what you can add to your site that makes it special. Unique. Better than than anybody else in your niche.

If you do that, PageRank will come. But you'll have risen to the top long before then.
