Hi all, does anybody know how I can get google to crawl my site for the first time? It's been 4 weeks and no crawl yet. yorkie puppies of colorado .com

    Did you goto Google Webmaster tools and add your site in there? Submit a sitemap? Add Google Analytics?

    I do that and I get indexed rather quickly.

    It's not a good idea to submit it manually. You need to promote it on already indexed dofollow sites such as this forum and above all - be patient

      Well I wouldn't say it isn't a good idea to submit manually. It definitely can't hurt you and it only takes 2 minutes to do, however it is not really necessary as there are other ways to get your site spidered.

    If you post the url on any site that gets crawled each day... this site for example then they know about you. What they choose to do with that information becomes the question. Getting indexed is pretty easy. Just work in getting your site linked from other popular sites... that's all there is to it.
