Google taking my site for a ride.

Literally. Two weeks ago=#4. Then few days later, #5. Then, #3. Now back down to #4. The site it about a month and a half old. Is this normal? What's in store?

Google has multiple data centers. Results are served based on a number of criteria not just keyword phrase.

Gee you moved up an down a spot or two. Would you expect to create a site have it hit a spot and never ever go up or down?

Google is just software.

Our site before never moved in 3 years, so yes, this is new to me and I'm just new to this in general. Otherwise I wouldn't be asking questions.
