Publishers Spinning My Articles??

So I did a test run of a new Article Marketing \ Blogging network service, a one week trial for 5 dollars, just to compare to the services I have been using. After a week, I looked up the links on Yahoo - way fewer than I usually get when publishing articles through more established venues. I followed some of the links to my content, and noted to my dismay that a couple of the publishers were autoblogs that were SPINNING MY CONTENT! Words were replaced with synonyms that made absolutely no sense in context. I canceled, refunded (5 bucks is 5 bucks), and won't be using that particular Article Marketing service - ever.

I get the strategy - turn syndicated content into unique content, so as to increase SERPS and adsense clicks. But part of my strategy is branding, which means only good content, all over the place. What are my options here? Contact the relevant webmasters and send them a cease and desist?

I discovered this too a few weeks ago. I only found it because I did a search for my title in quotes. They used my exact title but spun the crap out of my content and the content makes no sense at all. I was furious at first but not much you can do.

Why would you be so mad? It's still a backlink and often if the content is crap then they just go through and click on your link to see if that makes more sense and CTR can go up!

Alot of autoblogs use a spinning plugin but that is not neccesarily the fault of the network although they could have put a rule up there that you couldn't do that!

I have an exact match domain .org. I have just seen an exact match .net version of my own site appear two spots below me! The colour scheme is a bit different, but the content is virtually the same. I mean, he hasn't even tried to change the words!
