How do I check what Search Engine page my site is on?

A quick question, no doubt simple but I don't know the answer.

How do I check which page my website is currently on for various terms in the various search engines?

Which piece of software could I use to see where my sites are on google?

Presumably there is something I can use that will tell me what page I am on so I can see and record the results of my marketing.

Regards
Clive

There is a free program called Traffic Travis which has this facility.

You just add your URL your main keywords and choose which search engines and it takes a look & reports back.

I use Web Position Pro. It does a lot of things, running reports for search positions is just one. I've been using it for over 5 years happily

Thanks guys Iv'e downloaded Traffic Travis.

Thanks Andy I used the tool you suggested to have a look and found myself on top of Google for one term and on the first page for another, which was a bit of a shock to say the least.

Gives one a boost for marketing other keywords.

I found traffic travis to be just about enough for this purpose. Though I have tried SEO power suite too. More advanced than traffic travis.

If you use Firefox, go to SEOBook and download their toolbar, on it there is a button called Search Engine Rankings Checker.

Just enter your URL + your keyword(s) and it will tell you what position your URL is found on Google, Bing and Yahoo.
