Very low quality clicks. If someone clicks through an adsense ad, and leaves the page immediately you won't get credit for it.

I've had instances where I only made .01 on a couple of clicks.

Basically if someone clicks on a link, and right when the page is done loading they click out, this can cause your problem

You can also have this problem if your visitors arrived from some frowned upon method such as popups, automatic redirects, etc.

Okey, so I guess it's one person that have clicked 4 ads and just closed the page right away.

Thanks for the info...hope it will stop with this. Don't want to get banned

Google doesn't give second chances so make sure you follow their rules and adhere to their guidelines.

Don't call your friends and tell them to go to your website and click on some ads lol.

Not that you did I'm just saying, as a billion dollar company Google has the means to track bad clicks.

    Good luck!

Google does not ban people for invalid clicks.
What they ban people for is a history of a lot
      of invalid clicks.

There is a whole host of reasons why a click is
      invalid. It happens.

If you are humming along, and this happens once,
      no problem. Everyone gets it.

If you get 100 clicks, no money, or 100 clicks and
25 cents, you may need to start asking questions
      about yourself.

Too many people think google is just waiting to
ban you. They are not. The people who get banned
get banned through their own fault.

Clicking on their ads, asking friends to click, going
to starbucks and clicking, spamming emails, getting
      paid to click traffic, etc.

Invalid clicks happen more than people realize.

Unless you are watching and adding clicks with money,
you never know. Example, you see 10 clicks and $20.
You don't know if 2 of those were invalid or not. You
might have gotten 8 real clicks and $20. Unless there's
a way to check that I need to be informed about. Or
you constantly watch. But chances are, your clicks go
up in groups, not singles each time you check.

Invalid clicks for people who follow the rules are not
      a problem.

Thanks Paul for that long answer

No, I don't klick on my own ads or ask friends to do it. I have heard so many times that google check on it. And it wouldn't be fair to thoose people who put the ads up.

Yes, maybe I got those clicks before without knowing it. It's true that I often get more than one click per day.

        Feeling better now!

I've had one click that didn't credit. It's no problem to me because I usually get clicks that are more than half of a dollar worth.

I have seen this before, I assume google thinks it is click fraud so they don't count the click

Invalid clicks are not click fraud. Someone who claims to make $5000 a
month with adsense should know the difference.

4 clicks and zero earnings? Does that mean the advertiser is getting free traffic through Google Adwords?
