get many backlinks from the same site

This is a basic SEO question, but i wanted to know if i get a backlinks from a page in an x site and then i get another backlink from another page in the same x site .. if the backlinks is for the same keyword and same site... does this count as 2 backlinks or just one?

I targeted 2 different kw for the same site and page and did the same explained above, would it count as 1 backlink or 2 ?

      They count as 2 different backlinks even if they are for the same keywords.

      In general, I recommend not to get more than 5 backlinks to the same page from the same website.

        May I know Sir why not to get more than 5? This is for the same keywords right? How about different keywords and different URLs?

    They will be considered as 2 different backlinks. But still it is always a better option to build backlinks from as many sources as possible and not just restrict yourself to a site or two.
