Use Press Release Sites to Boost PR

Hello all,

Submitting press release has always been helping me gain high page rank on Google. For quite a while now, I have come to realize that press release sites are well indexed by Google search robots more than a host of article directories.

You see, when you publish a release, search spiders automatically picks them in few days and present them to the world. Press personnels can as well pick your release and reprint it on their high trafficked site.

And also, press release sites have a network of other sites where you release gets to appear. It's not limited to the site you submitted it to. this increases your back links and subsequently your ranking on search engine

Thirdly, your release would be published immediately and gets syndicated on major search engines even before your articles are reviewed.

Don't neglect press release distribution because it can help you attract more traffic as well as increase your page rank which is the real thing online.

That's all for now!

Good post. I would add that if you really want to supercharge your Press releases you need to make them newsworthy (doesn't have to be front page news its fine as niche news). More people will pick up the press releases and some will even blog on it depending on the subject.

The post is pure fantasy of people would actually stop
      and read the thing.

      If you believe:

You are living in a parallel universe.

      Do you really, seriously think:
You see, when you publish a release, search spiders automatically picks them in few days and present them to the world. Press personnels can as well pick your release and reprint it on their high trafficked site.
How is Joe Shmo ever going to achieve that with a press release?
      Aint gonna happen.

Agreed. Unless you pay to use PR Web, press releases are an utter waste of time.

As for the claim that it boosts PR - find me a press release site that does not use nofollow AND does not have about a million links on each page.

Who do you all use to submit your press releases? We use Marketwire and find it great. Also we submit to 60 other pr sites. I have heard bad things about PRWeb lately though.

Where abouts are you guys submitting? What works best?

I'd love to know the answer to this as well, as I'm thinking about starting this technique with my own site. Do you all only use press releases for SEO? Are there any press release sites where people will actually FIND your press release (as a form of advertising your product?)

The best way to promote your press release online is to use an online press release service. There are various PR distribution websites that accept Press Release submissions from companies. Most popular Press Release websites include:

    Paid Press Release Services:
PRWeb: PRWeb, a leader in online news and press release distribution. Pricing for their optimized releases is currently $80 per release for the Standard Visiblity, $140 for Social Media distribution, $200 for SEO Visibility and $360 for Media Visibility.

    Free Press Release Services:
I-Newswire: i-newswire is a free press release distribution center.
