Those percentages don't seem to make sense to some things I have seen. Iit seems like it varies from publisher to publisher depending on how their ads perform.

Well, yes. Smart pricing will mean that an advertiser pays less for an ad placement on a poorly converting site, but the revenue split with Google is still 68 percent in the publishers favor. As a result Google also gets paid less for clicks from poor quality websites, which is why they're keen to put an end to MFA sites.

I dont know how this information will help but I am happy that Google decided to part with this closely guarded secret which was very well kept all these years.

Just like millions of other webmasters I always used to wonder what the percentage of revenue share would be with adsense as Google never made this information public.. Thanks for sharing.

What does this mean? How would this information help?
To be honest I dont know... Publishers will still keep on trying different ads networks and would stick with the one that works the best for their niche/website.

I have no idea why Google kept it a secret all these years and why they just announced it out of the blue..

Why does it matter? Who really cares?
I care about total, not percentages.
It's google's program. We choose to use it. They
choose to allow us to share their wealth. If you
are unhappy with it, move on. Nobody is forcing anybody
to like it or take it. It's a program that costs you
nothing. Nothing. But costs google billions in money
given over to you. Nobody forces you to accept it.

People care. I care. We care. If you don't care, don't post. Pretty simple.

I care about total, not percentages.
BUT these percentages ARE IN FACT your total. IF they decide to switch them to... let's say, 22%, your total will be different. So can't really understand your point of view.

        Tell us something new.

If you are unhappy with it, move on.
        Unhappy? U talking to who?

Yeah, thats why it's bigger as it is.

But costs google billions in money given over to you.
REALLY? Money I made over the years by allowing Google to use my sites to sell advertising?

Maybe we can all stop using Adsense and Google loses all websites to show relevant ads in related content.

Maybe they can stick to "search engine results ads".

Oh wait they can't do that, cause they would lose MILLIONS everyday in content network.

Nobody forces you to accept it.
PLEASE, Show me more then 50% of people in this thread stating they hate OR don't want to be part of it.

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

I must say, you come across as a very angry man in most of your posts. He just stated an interesting fact, one which many people on the forum are interested in.

Misery loves company, and what better place to search for it then on a highly trafficked forum...

It's also something that I've always wondered, I don't know why they didn't release the figures for all this time.

Well I got to say it is good to finally get my curiosity satisfied. Does it matter? Hell no! But it is nice to know anyway.

Am I skeptical? Hell yes! Google has been secretive about it all these years. When Google bans someone from AdWords or AdSense, they don't give any straight answers, again being secretive. Google tells lies on their keyword tools. If you use one of them and then check the other one, you will get dramatically different numbers for both the search volume, as well as the bid amount for that word. So, I have a hard time believing anything that comes out of Google as I think they have an alternative agenda.
