Since there isn't a "thank you" button for the entire website, I just wanted to send out a thank you for all of this valuable information. My expertise is in PPV marketing and had no clue about anything from the SEO/organic side until I read this site.

I finally started up my own blog on May 10th and started doing all of the "SEO stuff" and I gotta say it's paying off! My ezinearticle is #1 for a term I was aiming for and, I think, because of that my blog is also listed on page #1 for that search term.

These early on successes are keeping me motivated and even more excited about expanding my SEO knowledge. I am extremely humbled by this learning experience as I didn't realize SEO was so time-consuming and intricate, but at the same time cannot wait to learn more!

One question I did have is, how do I maintain my pagerankings for specific terms? I gotta imagine that freshness of the content is leading to it passing other older articles/websites out there, so is it just a matter of backlinking now?

Congrats, just keep adding fresh 'quality' content that readers are hungry for.

With EZA, there may be a possibility that the article may lose its rank after a few weeks but thats quite common. Keep doing what your doing and don't hesitate to shout if you need any help!

Thanks! Yea, I am adding fresh good original content about once a week at this point. I am then taking those articles and posting them to ezine. I thought I read somewhere on this site that it's ok since the posting was on my blog first and is technically my own content.

      Any downside to this?

I didn't want to have to come up with my own good content and then some fluff, generally the same, for ezine.

Looking forward to working on ranking up in other terms, but this was definitely a good start.
