Is it better to have a page for each post for seo purposes, or have all the posts on the first page albeit just the first paragraph, and then people can click on whichever one they choose to read the whole article, Mick.

Not quite sure what you are asking here, hopefully I got your question right. You can still have a separate page for each post and display the entire post on a multiple-post page like your main blog page. Your blog will automatically create a new page for each post you make, as far as how it displays on your main page? Shouldn't matter how you set that up (either preview or full post) for SEO purposes.

For seo purposes it doesn't matter if you put up an excerpt or the full post on your homepage, but I use the excerpt so my visitors have to click through to read the rest. Having them click through makes them see my ads on the posts which is what I want.
